Hopefully, we will have a shot of David Gregory being thoroughly embarassed by the President. Ha! That press conference is one of my Top 10 President Bush moments!! LOL!
I hope so too. One of the great moments in Press Conference History. As Seven would say "SMACKDOWN" time for W. How sweet.
Thanks for another great night of photos Rintense. You're the woman!!!

Who says the French don't think highly of Bush? Looks like Le Grey Poupon actually brought his wife rather than some mistress, surely a sign of respect.

Share please about David Gregory. We've been on the road all weekend and I missed it. What happened?

Aha! Thanks for the links. I did read and post on one of those threads. So the President got Gregory good, huh? Hope I can catch it on tv later.

Um, why do most European leaders look either like Child Molesters or Pimps?? Hmmm...
I loved the pictures of the Jewish Synagogue. It's absolutely beautiful from what I was able to catch on tv!

It just kills the democrats that President Bush knows how to work with foreign leaders. This is one more thing that they cannot use against him in 2004.
They really tried to make him a fool in this area during his 2000 campaign, didn't they?

"George, stop exaggerating!"

rintense, thank you so much. At first, I was disappointed that President Bush would not be here on American soil for Memorial Day, until I heard that he will be at Normandy, the final resting place for so many brave American soldiers in World War II.

Howdy rintense, I have been watching the Memorial Day Program on Public TV. It has been great. One of the songs they played was "Summon the Heroes" which was our theme for an "I Love America" program several years ago at WBC. They also did the 5 military hymns which we do every year at ILA. There was just one thing wrong with that and that was the enuciation of the words to the songs--was very hard to understand what they were singing on the Coast Guard song. The pictures are great tonight as usual. My husband just got home from his fishing trip--took our grandson who got a bad sunburn. They had a good time, though and that is all that matters. Don't think they caught too many fish!!!! MamaB

Has anyone ever seen the British sitcom "Keeping Up Appearances" on PBS? It's hilarious, and Jacques (Squat) Chirac looks exactly like one of the sometime characters on that show, a randy British retired major who's always hitting on the series star, 60-ish Patricia Routledge.
