After having had a critical letter to the editor published concerning the world's most famous congressman, I received a very mysterious, unsigned greeting card in the mail with only a copying machine copy of the letter to the editor and the card enclosed in the envelope. No handwriting or return address on the envelope. A computer generated mailing label glued to the front of the envelope.

Mysterious? I'd say so. It was no where near the time of my birthday to receive such a greeting. Probably a po'ed staffer or family member. Oh well.

Guess it's time to start writing some more letters to the editor, Speaker Hastert, Dickie Gephardt demanding removal from Intel, an ethics investigation and expulsion from the House.

Oh my head hurts!!! Here was something I was thinking about: what if the body was buried so deeply that they didn't see anything, and the recent rains (heavy rains at that) exposed the earth?

Then again, it could have been that whoever was watching all of this before 9/11 decided to place the body there AFTER it had been searched.

But to have only found skeletal remains, it must have been buried SOMEWHERE for a long time.

I forget the exact details (but someone will chime in shortly), but Chandra worked at the Bureau of Prisons, she disappears right before the McVeigh execution, at the same time that the additional FBI files on him are found, and many have speculated that she knew something about McVeigh/Oklahoma City/Mideast/Terry Nichols/Phillipines/9-11 COVERUP..............not that I believe all of this, just recounting the many other angles. Condit is a scumbag, whether he killed her or not.

Holey Moley, Chandra's Body found???? Won't it be interesting to see the worm turn? Of course now that the body has been decayed beyond recognition, and any DNA remains will never be recovered due to the fact she was left to rot in a shallow grave by a creek no less. You can believe that her body was found today, as a result of Condit being out of office, out of power, and out of friends and money.

Somebody somewhere knows when the body was dumped. Dimes to donuts, it wasn't buried there but recently. I guarantee that she wasn't buried there when they did their search. Not to mention that they are now saying that it was a shallow grave she was found in. The worst part about that sort of thing, is that How can you not see freshly turned earth, or recognize earth that has been turned even weeks after it's been done? This person is a recent deposit. I'd wager money on it.

If it is confirmed as Chandra Levy, I'm sure there will be no way to implicate Gary Condit. The reason why I say this, is because I'm sure the body is so far gone, you won't even be able to tell without Mitochondrial DNA testing. We will never know the truth about Chandra, other than maybe the fact that her body was found, and her murder was probably execution style. There will be no apprehension of Condit, there will not be any other arrests, just a victim who died because she was having an affair with a dirty scumbag liar politician.

Well, I was trying to be "balanced"...

I believe Condit had every motive to kill her or have her killed, but there is that slight possibility that if she was "known to jog in Rock Creek park" as another poster mentioned, she could have been killed by an opportunistic attacker. My problem with this is if she was "known" to jog there, why'd she need to look up a map of the area? It is possible she'd jogged there before, but hadn't been to that park in a while. Or it is possible she was going to meet someone or that she was followed there. I still think of poor Joyce Chang and wonder why they haven't found her killer.
