When Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School snagged National Security Advisor Condie Rice to be its June 4 commencement speaker, we thought it was a coup--in the nice, not the foriegn policy sense of the word.

But according to the Tattler, the student newspaper (of Bethesda H.S.) some folks are grumbling.

'Lately, with the inception of the Peace Studies class at Bethesda-Chevy Chase, an increasing number of students are taking offense to her stand on national defense specifically towards the war in Afghanistan,' writes Tattler reporter Michael Beacker.

Former Post colleague! These poor kids are getting a major brainwashing. Anyone who has a kid in that school who doesn't want them shoved into Marxist thinking better yank them quick. If they have a former "Post colleague" working there, there is no telling how many other leftist whackos are indoctrinating their kids. Someone better get a handle on this.

And Mr. McCarthy (ironic choice of a name for someone who advocates what ultimately amounts to un-American actions) would rather that the US sit by quietly while Al Qaeda (and by extension the Taliban) plot the destruction of the US and the rest of the Western world? Unfortunately, he has brainwashed the rest of his charges in the upper-class suburban enclaves of Chevy Chase and Bethesda. I truly have to wonder what the parents of these children are thinking!

What am I thinking? They are probably all Clinton "tax & spend" Democrats who would much rather see a hammer and syckle flying over the White House than the Stars & Stripes.

And what were the 3000+ who died in the wake of 9-11? Why doesn't McCarthy go over there and slap Al Queda on the wrist? It's incredible that this person thinks it's OK for someone to do something like 9-11 to us and act like we deserve it! Yes we have more, but that's because we work hard for it. If someone attacks me or mine, they had better watch their backs!
