[history]
A 5-year-old Rancho Cordova girl will return to kindergarten at the Capital Christian School after being expelled last week because administrators discovered her mother works as a nude dancer.
Christina Silvas, 24, agreed to stop working at Gold Club Centerfolds off Highway 50 for at least the next three weeks so her daughter can graduate from kindergarten and attend the end-of-the-year pool party she had been looking forward to.

CPS needs to be investigated for child abuse. In all but the most extreme cases, children are safer *before* CPS gets involved than after. It won't get any better as long as they can claim "children's privacy" and avoid any oversight.

What is immoral about stripping? It just so happens that I frequent strip-clubs from time to time, and see nothing wrong with at all. If you have to ask...

"My children don't live in "Amish country" and they don't know a single stripper" Mine don't know any either (neither do I). I didn't say they personally know or socialize with one, I said they will know what one is... and other things. If they are 10 years old, watch television, or go to any school, even a christian school, they will know what a stripper is. Whether they think it is right or wrong is up to the parents to instill in them.

Yeah, and it's a risk you have to take, whether to call CPS and anger other parents who don't like CPS either, or to let a problem go on and end up being taken to court because you decided not to report it.

I wonder if she'll be attending the end of the year pool party with the other parents? (She'll probably feel overdressed) She's already picked out her swimsuit:

My guess is that the woman lives in an area that she deems to be unsafe and that she does believe that her daughter is better off in this school The issue has never been unsafe neighborhood/school-- it was always about how she couldn't otherwise afford THIS private Christian school, w/o stripping.

According to a previous article, there were "rumors" (guess the good folks don't mind gossiping, although the Bible mentions it), so one "righteous" church member took on the tedious task of visiting some porn sites to find her pics.

If she wants any more children, I promise I'll help her find good schools for all of "our children". Really...

I didn't say they personally know or socialize with one, I said they will know what one is... and other things. Which is the point. It's one thing for children to know evil and immorality exists in the world, but it's another thing all together for them to have to live with it in their personal lives. If my children were at this school, I would be furious at the school if they didn't expel the child. I would feel terrible for the child, but that is beyond my control. My children's environment, on the other hand, is totally my responsibility.

Hmmmm, my thoughts were going in that direction........
