Yep. Also, now that she does not need him any more to get to power, this would be a great excuse to divorce him and pretend that she is distancing herself from his kind of evil. (And, of course, there are so many stupid people out there who don't know that the evil of the two of them goes well beyond any sex scandal.) Heck! Maybe Hitlery is the one who is funding the PR on this one.

Well, that depends on what the meaning of the word "elected" is, doesn't it? Now, there's elected by legal means and then there's elected by illegal means such as allowing multiple voting, voting by people not legally registered to vote in a precinct, and keeping the polls open overtime to accomodate all of the paid voters and their travel time. (And probably a whole host of tricks honest people like us can't even imagine.)
