Child Molestation and the Homosexual Movement, by Steve Baldwin
Regent University Law Review ^ | Steve Baldwin

Posted on 05/08/2002 8:39:38 PM PDT by Joe Republc

I used to be very tolerant of homosexuality, thinking that was just the choice between two adults. Not anymore.

Read "Child Molestation and the Homosexual Movement," an article by Steve Baldwin. As noted on the web page leading to the article, it "addresses several recent attacks on our society driven by the homosexual movement. From the international campaign to lower or remove age of consent laws, to the recent assault on the Boy Scouts of America, homosexuals are waging an all out campaign to normalize homosexuality."

Reading through this makes a pretty convincing case that homosexuality and child molestation are well-tied.

I don't believe that "recruiting" is the main reason behind the attack on the Scouts. Again, most of these whining, crying homosexuals have probably been picked on all their lives and now that they have some political power they are out for revenge. About having access to minors...well, it's bound to attract those people who are predisposed to that type of immoral activity. The bottom line is that the Scouts exclusionary policy should be upheld.

Actualy, I did address the molestation of children. It is in the FIRST paragraph on the FIRST and SECOND lines. Try reading something first before you try to respond to it next time. You might learn something.

It is.

I'm not sure what you'll need to see to believe it, but I've seen it.

Again, try reading what I wrote. Incest, bestiality, and pedophilia all have at least one or more members that either don't, or can not CONSENT. So therefore it can and does hurt people.

If you read what I write, I DO disagree with them pushing themselves on us as well as the NAACP and the like. I DO disagree with us being labled crazy right wingers and the such. Trust me, I know this may be hard for you to believe. Now seriously ALL read this carefully and thouroughly. I HATE these things and have the same feelings about them as you do. The ONLY difference is the fact that I believe that they have the freedom to do what they want. Life, Liberty, and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. If that means whining because your 10 times great grandpappy was a slave or sticking a gerbil up your but then so be it. I don't like it, but you have the right to be that way.

Harrison, the PEE WEE quote was specifically referring to an argument made agaisnt me, so thanks for helping me prove my point.

Tell me where I say it isn't wrong. I repeatedley say it is, REPEATEDLY. Where is my wishywashyness. I am very concrete on what I believe. I just think all people have rights. Anyway, your comment is worthless. This is a discussion boards, not a "your stupid board," if you know what I mean. If you can not defend your point and cannot poke holes in mine, and namecalling is your only resort, then why are you here. Go to the playground and call people names. They will have fun with that.

JEEZ! How blind are you? You just agreed with everthing I said and then said that I am missing something. I THINK IT IS WRONG FOR HOMO'S AND HETERO'S. Are you just stating this so you can feel like you are discrediting me and saying something right, because you are not. You are stating our mutual ground and then saying I am wrong because we agree on the same thing.

The blindness is true, but the sad thing even with their "morality" is that they think they have rights, but no one else does. Their type of hypocrisy goes against almost every religion in the world.

People who practice homosexual sex are mentally confused. And they become dangerous when they go after little boys or practice sex without condoms. Homosexuals belong in a closet where they can do whatever they wish in privacy, with another consenting adult. They do not deserve special rights and they do not deserve toleration or acceptance when they choose to practice their deviancy or sickness in front of others.

You may be right. At any rate, I find it hard to believe that these activists speak for anyone other than themselves.

You are agreeing with me. They don't deserve special rights, they deserve the same rights as us. If they do something wrong then they should go to jail, just like a heterosexual.

Since the thought that people could be born gay -- it's much easier to demonize people when they "choose" to be something, I guess -- wipes out all their arguments, they would rather believe the lie than believe all the gay people in the world. Besides, why should they believe people they think of as subhuman anyway? I mean, they've got their moral superiority to show off to the world. :)

It's also much easier to rationalize deviant behavior by removing individual choice and responsibility from the equation. There are myriad sexual deviancies and sub-deviancies that people choose to either indulge or not indulge based on a variety of factors. The fact that some people choose to engage in these behaviors without restraint has more to do with a lack of self-control than genetics.

I have a close friend who is both a homosexual and an alcoholic. There is more scientific evidence to support the notion that his family history predisposed him to alcoholism than there is to support the idea he was "born gay". Why is society so adamant that he stop drinking? Isn't that denying his true self?

No-I don't agree with you. I don't think practicing homosexuals deserve the same rights as you and I. Absolutely not. I do not believe in the union of two same sex people, as sanctioned by marriage vows. I do not believe two homosexuals are anything more than same sex junkies who happen to be friends in misery. And I will never use the term 'gay', a genuine distortion of the homosexual plight, because it is a lie. SAD works.

You did agree with me on everything else. I have 2 questions. Why should you have all of your rights, but whomever you deem unworthy loses theirs? Why do you get to make these decisions?

Basically because there really is right and there really is wrong, Throw. That is just how it is. And yeah, sometimes it is ok to make judgements. We have courts and jurys to determine which one will reign. Not all of my judgements are correct, neither are all of yours.

First of all, I sincerely THANK YOU for actually arguing the point to make this a rational discussion. I do agree that we can all be wrong. I do agree with the court system and everything you said. The courts however are based on law. This law states over hundreds of pages what one can and can't do. In a nutshell, it says you can do whatever you want as long as you are not infringing on other's rights. That is the one thing that makes America the greatest country in the world.

As far as the right and wrong thing, the world used to be flat. I know this is stretch in degree, but right and wrong change with time.

Now, as I said, they should not get to talk about it in scouts just as a heterosexual should not talk about heterosexual stuff in scouts. They should be able to tell a scout how to tie a knot, to cast a line for a fish, or educate them in outdoor survival.
