Clinton As A TV Talk Show Host?
(CNSNews.com) - It's been mentioned before, and now it's making headlines:
The Los Angeles Times reported Thursday that former President Bill Clinton has met twice with NBC executives to discuss the possibility that he might host his own TV talk show. According to the newspaper, the discussions are preliminary, but Clinton is said to be seriously interested. He reportedly wants to be paid $50 million a year to become "the next Oprah Winfrey," according to the newspaper. Neither NBC nor Clinton are commenting publicly. Stay tuned...

Unfortunately, the real question and problem here is not Clinton. It is:
"Would the American People be as corrupt as to come back in test marketing as supporting such a jackass idea, and thus creating the fundamental 'market pull' for a TV network to go through with it?"
A great majority proved themselves as intrinsically corrupt several years ago in letting the Criminal continue in office; this would be yet another test on a mass-scale of their character and integrity, if you ask me.
Freepers, how will the American people (majority) receive such an idea???

Clinton has no idea what the word shame means and as for NBC or any of the other stations .. One .. they have an agenda .. plus they think they will make big time bucks from commercials
The outcome will be .. the show will flop .. Clinton will look like the self serving SOB we all know him to be and NBC will lose big time bucks for getting into bed with Clinton

Time to drop that accusation. DNA tests proved Danny Williams is NOT Jughead's kid(much to the stunned relief of Jughead). Better to stick with the true scandals, there are a million more to chose from.

Wouldn't such a show bring campaign finance problems for NBC and Hillary? Seems it would be walking a thin line in regards to the fairness doctrine/equal time, and could be viewed by the FEC as a donation to the Hillary campaign. And who's to say that the other networks that lose out might not fan the flames of controversy examining these accusations(one good thing to remember about liberals, pettiness and jealousy can often trump their principles, already maleable.)
Well, Diddle, you know when it pertains to the Clintons....there is no fairplay on any field at any time, they point to everyone else, but they are immune to the law and to fairplay.

The only way I'd watch Clinton's show is if it were call-in with no screeners.

My initial reaction is to puke, but after thinking about a Clinton TV show for a few minutes it occured to me that he will certainly fail in the endeavor. If NBC wants to "blow" $50 million on Slick, more power to them.

I'm no fan of Clinton but I'm no "Clinton Hater" as some might put it.. or I have put it to some people. Far as I'm concerned I'm over it.. he did some pretty bone head things but whatever corruption he committed that he should be in jail for is on the way back burner to make sure we still have a country to put him in jail.

I have the perfect topic for his first show, "Women Who Have Been Sexually Assaulted by a President of the United States."

Freepers, how will the American people (majority) receive such an idea??? It's the race to the bottom, I'm afraid. Someone reported here recently that Oprah herself is carefully stage managed by her handlers, reading most of what she says off a teleprompter, but offstage she's apparently as dumb and vulgar as your next up and coming rap superstar. I suspect that the network will want to manage Clintbilly in a similar way, though you can bet that he'll resist being a puppet on a string.
