This is exactly why politicians want unlimited immigration. The people who come here from socialist countries want government services and think that because they pay taxes, they should get whatever they won't provide for themselves. With our form of government subverted to a legislative democracy from a constitutional republic, politicians encourage people to demonstrate and lobby for legislation which will provide the demonstrators with pittances while giving politicians a pretext to expand their powers and confiscate huge sums from the economy.
The kid in this article has been taught at government run schools that this is how America works. He thinks he's being very reasonable and would be shocked to hear that he's supporting the destruction of the USA.

Difficult to pay taxes when you are on welfare, as Danny joins the "Among their demands" crowd.

When Dannys grandmother visits the welfare office every month, the 10th-grader from Bushwick often forgoes classes to translate. If it wasnt for me, my father would have had problems with doctors because he doesnt speak English, said Torres.
Oh yeah. We definately need to provide translators (at our expense) for these people. Can I bring you a cup of coffee and the latest edition of La Opinion while you wait?
Don't these people have any pride?

One of my great-great grandmothers immigrated to the US from the Rhine valley region of Germany. She kept a journal that's been passed down through the family. The first sections were written in German. After about 9 months to a year, she switched to English.
Guess what? The government never provided "ESL classes". The local immigrant community taught the newcomers the language. I guess that isn't possible anymore since they can live here for years and never need to learn the language.

1. My immigrant ancestors worked to make a living and provided for their families.
2. My mother's family spoke a Russian dialect in their house, but the only place it was spoken or written outside of the home was their Church.
3. My ancestors came here with the expectation of better economic lives for themselves and their descendents, which included adapting to being Americans. The plan wasn't that tax-financed programs subsidized low-income wages (which shifts part of the burden to pay workers to the tax payer).
This aspect or things bothers me more, the more I think about it. I'm paying for part of the wages of these immigrant workers through taxes. You think the powers that be want these people to move up and demand higher wages and have the immigrant kids compete with the elite for places in the best universities or for jobs...no way. They're here to keep the wage pressure on the lower and middle classes.
And nobody should say it can't happen to them, their job is too important. Have you spoken to any high end computer programmers lately who have seen their work shipped to Pakistan or other "friendly" places?

Heard on RCI last night that Canada accepts people at the US border seeking refugee status - about 40,000 year
(Americans included). Only takes aboot 90minutes. "Don't let the door..."

France has the same problem. 7 million Algerians have invaded their country. Claim a place as yours, drop it, and complain that the people are still coming to your country? Too bad.

Or better yet, have you seen the scads of H1-B visa holders that come HERE and displace technology workers because they think 20K a year is good money?
I've seen them at a company I did consulting work for. They live 6 to 8 in a 2 bedroom apartment, ride to work together in ONE car and make no attempt to assimilate or socialize with anyone else. And of course the women wear their 'traditional' garb and won't look you in the eye.
Assimilate or get the F*** out!

Great picture!
Where can we get a bigger version to needle the clueless crowd?
