President Bush headed to the left coast today with stops in New Mexico and California. Bush addressed a crowd at the University of New Mexico saying that he will work to pass federal mental health parity legislation to eliminate disparites in the coverage of mental health benefits. The President then headed to Los Angeles where he made several stops before attending a fund raiser this evening. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

"The poster was trying to get me riled because I don't like Larry Klayman, which aggravates her."I don't exactly remember pinging that comment to you, but rather to someone named Scholastic.
Actually, your personal distaste for Klayman is more entertaining than offensive to me.

Speaking of dear ol' Larry Klayman, I got this huge letter (for donations of course) today, about all of the wonderful things he is doing. Oh, by the way, more money please.

The great hope of the country lies in the hearts and souls of our people.I may be obvious to US here, but many others need to be reminded of it.
Nice pics, rintense!! This thread has been going gangbusters the last couple of nights. It has been a LOT of fun!

I agree - nice picture in #39. A mixture of kindness, understanding, confidence, but underneath it all a steely resolve. I think this picture gives a glimpse into his soul.

I was gone today. Did anyone see the coverage in Los Angeles? I would like to know how he was received. Yes, I watched the coverage today. He was received warmly and his speech was just wonderful! As a Californian, it's such a neat feeling to know that President Bush makes the effort to fit visits to our state into his schedule (since we don't deserve it due to how we voted in the last election.)

There was nothing un-Christian about my comments. Do you have a sense of humor or not? Jesus taught us many virtues in the Bible, but He was not a fluffy person either. He called a spade a spade, especially when it came to his dealings with the Pharasees and the Saducees.
To: ohioWfan
It's the eyes. Some people can hide their feelings, but this President of ours shows all in his eyes.

If that Quote of the Day doesn't show the difference between our President and the members of the other party, I don't know what would!
One great thing (among many) about President Bush is that he, like Ronald Reagan, has faith in the people of America and knows that is the source of all our success.
Thanks, rintense, for another wonderful set of pictures!

Don't beat yourself too much about California. Remember how the liberal media was calling states for Gore and late in calling them for Bush. If there had been fairness in the media, CA might have been a lot closer.

Thank you, rintense. Yikes, my finger slipped and all of a sudden I saw "Report Abuse". Not even! I guess my comment is that Sen. Domenici of New Mexico is a brilliant man and I love him dearly, but he's gotta have the worst set of dentures I've seen outside Sen. Fritz "Way too much consumin' goin on heah" Hollings!

Sorry to be so blunt, but...
I am asking everyone to stop this NOW. Issues from other threads should not be brought over here. My Monday was completely sh!tty and I am not in the mood for this.
