President Bush headed to the left coast today with stops in New Mexico and California. Bush addressed a crowd at the University of New Mexico saying that he will work to pass federal mental health parity legislation to eliminate disparites in the coverage of mental health benefits. The President then headed to Los Angeles where he made several stops before attending a fund raiser this evening. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Regarding Edwards: we all need to be praying that he is struck with alopaecia...sudden and total BALDNESS. Without his hair, he is nothing!

Regarding Clinton: I think he wants to speak out, but I think he has been told to stifle it. I have noticed that he starts to speak but then seems to pull back...someone must have given him a clue. Heheheh.

Thanks for the advice!!! That is kind of hard to do here in the TN Valley--where even the Indians knew this area as the Valley of Illness!! Just something I learned when our younger daughter was in a Girl Scout play. We had a storm here last night and lightning hit a tree outside the bedroom window. It was the 2nd time this tree had been hit within the last 18 months. When it hit the tree, it knocked a picture off the bathroom wall and out into the bedroom. Was quite scary since this area was hit by that tornado back in the 80's. We went down into the basement and when I got to the bottom of the stairs, I could smell the ozone or whatever a storm produces. That was a first! Mamab

Actually they did get to the other side. Those little buggers are really quick!

And why did they cross the road? Who knows? They always act like it's the most important thing in the world that they get to the other side, and before you pass too. Can't wait until the road's clear. They are so cute though!
