President Bush headed to the left coast today with stops in New Mexico and California. Bush addressed a crowd at the University of New Mexico saying that he will work to pass federal mental health parity legislation to eliminate disparites in the coverage of mental health benefits. The President then headed to Los Angeles where he made several stops before attending a fund raiser this evening. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Let them bring Edwards on. Obviously they see the handwriting on the wall and know Gore doesn't have a prayer in h-e-double hockey sticks of giving W any competition. Neither does Edwards, but they don't realize it yet. They are casting about desperately and I love it.

I know during the campaign Poppy told Clinton to Quit bashing his son or he would tell the world what he thought of him, Slick Willy was quiet as a "Church Mouse" after that :-)

It was the vilest post I have ever seen on FR, rintense.

I hit the abuse button before I saw all that was on there but I had seen enough. BIG NAUSEA ALERT if you want to read further. It was a picture of Ron and Nancy Reagan with an aborted fetus on a platter sitting on their table!!! There were other horrible anti-Reagan slogans, I think - sort of Nazi like - around the picture and in the post. It was the sickest thing I have ever seen posted on FR.....and if that person every gets back on here ----in any other name - he needs to be found and possibly prosecuted - if that can be done. I don't know how those things work.

Edwards is just a sick puppy, bought his senatorship with his trial lawyer winnings. He will have a lot of money behind him from the trial lawyers, but hope people know what a sleaze he is.

I am thrilled that he's throwing his support behind Simon (even though he didn't in the primary). Hopefully it will be enough.

Davis came out recently for reparations for slavery and hopefully that will be enough to make those people who are undecided vote for Simon. I told my very liberal mother-in-law about this and she is not going to vote for Davis now, no way! If we change one vote at a time....
