If you haven't been back lately you should see St. Paul. Norm Coleman did an unbelieveable job cleaning up that city. He brought in lots of businesses and brought pro-hockey back to MN. And, unlike Jeffords, he switched from being a dem to a Republican BEFORE the election.

The polls around here have Wellstone the socialist at about 42% and Coleman at 41%. A statistical dead-heat. Even better, the Green party, (can you say Nader), is talking about running a candidate for US Senate here this November. The Greens won two seats this past November on the Minneapolis City Council. That was a big deal around here, believe me.

Wellstone is getting scared. He's even dragging out his old green bus to campaign in again. One of the local talk show conservatives was laughing out loud today. He said that Wellstone, (who promised to only serve two terms), might as well hang a sign on the bus that says, "I lied". By drudging up that bus again he's going to remind people of his broken promise.
