President Bush spoke to the press late this afternoon from the Western Whitehouse, confirming reports that both Israel and Arafat have agreed on a way to end the stand off at Arafat's headequarters. Arafat has agreed to hand over six wanted terrorists to US and British officials while the Israelis have agreed to let Arafat free and to pull out of Ramallah. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I appreciate your response. Thought, it doesn't satisfy me because I don't believe in the things that you described. Regards.

I believe it has woken some up. I am deeply concerned though that it was a temporary thing - much like 9/11 had a temporary affect. Pray that the Church does not turn back into a sleeping giant. I'll be interested to see if there are more, the same, or fewer people participating across the nation in the National Day of Prayer this Thursday.

I come to this thread because it's a sanctuary from all the hate filled posts on FR. Some people must lead very sad, lonely lives if all they can do is hate President Bush, hate all Arabs (Islam), hate Colin Powell, hate Tom Ridge and all the other people they hate...blah blah blah blah. It's a litany of hate out there. That's why I love A Day in the Life of President Bush.

Some how I have this idea annie that it took Clinton to wake the people of God up, and once we were shaken out our stupor we had to repent of our own sins and thoughts. Speaking from personal experience. Clinton caused me to pray continually for the thoughts I had for this man and his wife. Bush helps me to pray for him and our country.
A hearty AMEN and Me Too to this swheats!
I'm still praying not to hate Xlinton for what he did to this wonderful country. When George W. Bush spoke at the Republican Convention it was as if the Lord hit me on the head and said, "PRAY FOR THIS MAN!" I felt HOPE for America for the first time in 8 years, and nothing has happened since to shake my confidence that he is God's chosen man to lead this country.

A timely quote for this thread. Count me in as a "Bush babe."Well, you are in good company here!
And thank you for the complete quote. It's my second favorite quote in my favorite novel.........my favorite is, of course the final quote......"It is a far, far better thing that I do than I have ever done....."
I sincerely feel that the world situation is without a doubt the worst that it has been in my lifetime, but I have never had more confidence that the man whom God has put in the White House is the best man to deal with the enormous problems we face.

Obviously, my sense of humor is not the same as others.
It appears my comparison the President's apparently adept juggling of world events to anyone else who is legendary in likewise talent has offended. This intended compliment with its intended humor was a banning offense.
Its sad that obviously non-offensive attempts at humor and even compliments on Freerepublic.com are now a banning offense.
Sad indeed.

You are welcome for the photos. You have reminded me that I need to work on my profile page. When photopoint went down I lost a lot of photos. It's looking kind of bare.

Hey,fellow Hoosier! Like you I con to the Dose to get away for awhile for those who insist upon hating everything and everyone including our wonderful president. It seems to me that they don't even like themselves. Something to think about. Welcome to the Dose! CS (A misplaced Hoosier in Maryland)

Miss Marple, thanks for the quote from Thomas Paine. Rintense, thanks as always for your good work.
I was unable to tune in last night as we had terrible storms here is MD and I could not access the internet - too much electricity in the air I guess.
Hope to catch you tonight.

It's about that picture he posted comparing W to Tommy Smothers. Smothers is juggling. Guess he thought it was an apt comparison. Most here thought it was a slam against the president comparing W to the typically thought of no-brain Smothers. Evidently, he has a different opinion of Smothers who he claims has an astute ability at juggling and therefore, the comparison was complimentary rather than perjorative.

Good morning, all. Wanted to drop in for a quick minute and share a link to a story about Ari for those of you who like to keep up with him. Seems he was very generous with his time during the Texas trip, and the article notes the Crown Prince did not honor a request for an appearance at a local Islamic center.
