I admit, before 9/11, I was luke warm to Israel. Now, I am a 100% supporter of Israel. For some of us, 9/11 was a slap in the face to reality.

Excellent article; Yes Appeasers in the west think by sacrificing Israel, then kashmir, then chechnya they will save themselves. Wrong, Spain Al-Andalusia was mentioned by Zawahiri in the first post 9/11 binladen video. And recently by Moussaoui in his rant to the court recently. An article by Jeffrey Goldberg in the NYT in 1999 quoted a pakistani cleric who said "We will not rest until the flag of islam flies over NewDelhi, TelAviv and Washington DC."

Simple answer: Europe is SCARED of it's muslim population. Will Jews do suicide bombings in Paris, Berlin or Stockholm? Will muslims? The author has referred numerous times to the large number of people who blame Israel for everything. Perhaps they have a point, and so to set the record straight, I do hereby denounce the following in the name of the Jewish People:

1. All Jewish suicide bombers who have ever acted against Arabs.

2. All Arab buses blown up by Jews.

3. All Arab pizza parlors, malls, discotheques and restaurants destroyed by Jewish terrorists.

4. All airplanes hijacked by Jews since 1903.

5. All Ramadan feasts targeted by Jewish bombs.

6. All Arabs lynched in Israeli cities; all Arab Olympic athletes murdered by Jews; all Arab embassies bombed by Jews.

7. All mosques, cemeteries and religious schools fire bombed or desecrated by Jews in North Africa, France, Belgium, Germany, England or any other country.

8. All destruction undertaken by Jews of American military, governmental and civilian institutions in Kenya, Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Yemen - along with the murder of U.S. Marines and diplomatic personnel.

9. All Jewish school books which claim that Arabs poison wells, use Christian blood to bake pita, control world finance, and murdered Jesus; or that Arab elders meet secretly to plot a world takeover.

10. And I am particularly ashamed at the way my fellow Jews attacked the World Trade Center, Pentagon and civilian aircraft on September 11, and danced in the streets to celebrate the act.

Similarly in Britain's eyes, Israel should forgo self-defense against terrorists bombers, because Sharon has failed to negotiate away every last inch of Israel.

I propose that Britain subject itself to Naziism as a prelude to lecturing Israel on self-defense.

I don't think it is a matter of falling for it. They know very well what they are doing. They are purposely and deliberately shoveling the BS. When the liberal media speak, I assume they are lying, till I can check it out for myself. Now, would you say that I am just a little cynical of the media?

I don't understand why so many people (even a few here on FReepers) continue the blame Israel for defending itself. Apparently they condone homicide bombers and car bombs that deliberately target civilians as being the only way the Palestinian under-dogs have of striking out against a superior military force. These pro-Palestinians simply ignore the fact that Arasplat has walked away from several negotiations that offered "his people" (he was born in Egypt, so go figure) a separate state.

Either the liberal media has not done a historical background check on Israel/Palestine, or they choose to ignore the blatant facts: That Arasplat emerged as a terrorist against neighboring Arab states, and he now continues his murderous ways, believing that Israel will be driven into the sea -- with the aid of the Arab countries that continue to subsidize his terrorist activities against the Jews. There is only one group these Arab countries hate worse than Arasplat, and that is Jews.
