My wife and I are Scout Leaders over here and it sickens us to watch these once-proud brand names sell out by trying to ingratiate themselves with the PC police. Thanks for all you are doing, champ; I'll make sure everyone I can reach puts Carrier on the boycott list, AND lets them know why.
I have just been informed that your company has decided to "defund" your support for the boy scouts for their standing on their moral grounds with their "don't ask, don't tell" policy regarding scout sexuality.One old scout who is doing his part ...You should reconsider this position. Although it is every corporation's right to donate to who they choose, it is also every consumers right to know the reason why a corporation changes its policy. There is a growing movement for a boycott of Carrier for this poorly thought out decision against family values and unless reversed, I can only agree to join it.
Also I don't like to join "boycott" movements, since this is the weapon of choice that those who stand against the boy scouts are using, one can do no less than to reverse the process by doing the same. I do hope that Carrier would reconsider this negative PR move that your corporation has taken.
