Federal agents seize workers mainly on immigration charges
April 23 Agents of the FBI, the Immigration and Naturalization Service and Customs arrested airport workers Tuesday morning at Reagan National Airport and Dulles International Airport in Virginia, NBC News has learned. The federal agents have been arresting workers who are in the United States illegally or who are wanted on outstanding warrants.
AS OF about 9 a.m. ET, the agents had arrested about 35 workers at both airports, federal sources said. Some of the workers have access to secure areas of the airports, including airplanes and tarmacs.
The detainees are not suspected of terrorism. But they have been arrested as a result of the governments no-tolerance policies implemented after the Sept. 11 terror attacks. Many of the suspects have out-of-status visas, a violation of immigration rules.
The agents used a ruse to make the arrests. They told the targeted employees to head to various conference rooms on airport grounds to watch new training videos, the sources said. And once the suspects were seated, the agents moved in. Others not working today were being arrested at their homes. The arrests began at 6 a.m. and were scheduled to continue until 1 p.m. ET.
This is the latest in a series of such crackdowns at airports around the country but is the first in the Washington area.

Where were the "Homeland Security" agents when the thugs were gathered on the Mall in Washington DC this past weekend, advocating the violent overthrow of America and killing innocent civilians? Seems to me that many arrests could have, and should have been made then and there.

Is there an email address where I can get in touch with "Mexico" when I get worried about what they think?
Take your time.

Great news! It seems that they are checking off every airport, one by one, for these sweeps. I wish they would spend more money for this instead of liberal programs.

Oh shoot .. I just remembered .. wasn't there a hospital that reported a bunch of birth certificates were stolen???
