Received two cell calls from Dave. The stage is set. The flags are waving. The weather is great. They're ready to Roll! Around 0945 the crowd was 50+ including Kristinn, sauropod, Leadpenny, Angelwood, Exit 148, GoreWarVet, Dutchy, Congressman Billy Bob, Black Agnes, TaxMan, TGSL DeComa, WhoKnowsWhatEvil, FireBrand, Country Dummy, Stan Waite, Pro2aMom, 0351Dog. (please pardon any mispelled "names" or omissions. The cell connections were poor).

Around 1015 the crowd was continuing to grow, with some spill over from the Peacenik/anarchist nitwits. Dave reports that it was the port-o-potties that attracted them. But our fearless Freepers labelled the doors "Patriots" and Patriot Women". It seems to be turning them away.

Only if justified whining is your goal. Personally, I prefer effectiveness over self amusement.

The media was NOT able to paint this FreeRepublic.com Patriots Rally as an "angry white male" only thing. The "diversity" of races, religions and ethnicity there today was an excellent cross section of hard working middle class AMERICANS! (when others post their photos later... you will see more evidence of this factor - so important to media image, that is) ;-)

BTW - I don't mean to bash you as you seem passionate about what you believe in. If you approach participants on this site with an open mind to their beliefs, you may find the effort reciprocated.

Mustang, thanks SO much for your updates and posts. I watched them as they came in ... sitting on the edge of my chair.

Dave, thank you SO much for being there and providing those reports. I have been there on that end of the cell phone at Klamath Falls last summer and know how it feels.

Now I know what it feels like to be hundreds ... thousands of miles away and wishing I could be there to stand with all you fine folks in the breach today ... standing up to those who have been deluded by and are being used as the "useful idiots" of our enemies.

God bless each one that was there, and all of us that wish we could have been but were not able. Dave, your and mustangs reports and communication channel helped us.

I was in DC today. There WERE an awful lot of scruffy looking types with little notepads writing things down...

Agreed. However, a leader should not allow ego clash avoidance to take precedence over the success of an event. Ego issues need to be managed, not avoided.

I didn't intend to portray your issue as self amusement, just your approach on getting people to understand it and maybe join you...no offense.

Not only are they in this country, but if we don't stop them, their plan is to CO-OPT the universities and the political discussion and use our system against itself to take over. It's happening as we speak. The local community college here is having a student government election. The most publicized slate is the "Students United" "party" which is chock full of Islamic names. The Jihadists are NOT stupid.

It's important to note that this is happening in Community Colleges, where Jews tend not to enroll, as they enroll in 4-year colleges, which have Hillel (Jewish Society) clubs. They have a good strategy. Do we?

This "Asian tourist" wandered into the crowd towards the end of the rally and inscrutably said "No Justice, No Peace." ;-)

That the nations military personnel should be respected and supported while protecting this country overseas and in the field of enemy fire. What do you think today's rally was about?

In fact, they won't even talk about that in any just manner in spite of the evidence.

They won't talk about it because you are squatting on their thread, talking about something completely off topic and pissing on their efforts. Try starting a thread of your own. If people don't show up, don't be surprised, you bent a few shapes.
