Received two cell calls from Dave. The stage is set. The flags are waving. The weather is great. They're ready to Roll! Around 0945 the crowd was 50+ including Kristinn, sauropod, Leadpenny, Angelwood, Exit 148, GoreWarVet, Dutchy, Congressman Billy Bob, Black Agnes, TaxMan, TGSL DeComa, WhoKnowsWhatEvil, FireBrand, Country Dummy, Stan Waite, Pro2aMom, 0351Dog. (please pardon any mispelled "names" or omissions. The cell connections were poor).
Around 1015 the crowd was continuing to grow, with some spill over from the Peacenik/anarchist nitwits. Dave reports that it was the port-o-potties that attracted them. But our fearless Freepers labelled the doors "Patriots" and Patriot Women". It seems to be turning them away.

A new internal memo from the Washington, D.C. Police Department warns police that protestors this weekend might use violence and pipe bombs, and specifically tells police to be alert for persons who are photographing, videotapping or taking notes, the D.C. Independent Media Center has learned.
The document, obtained this morning by the Independent Media Center, paints protestors and media producers alike as suspicious and potentially dangerous.
"It is possible that some of the radical groups that are involved may stage so-called 'probing' incidents between now and the actual event," the memo reads. "Such incidents are intended to test police, fire and EMS response. Such incidents may include vandalism, pipe bombings, or 'Molotov cocktails.'"
Specifically, police are told to be alert for "suspicious" people who are gathering information about police activities or calling police on the phone "posing" as reporters. The memo recommends that police should photograph people on the streets who are photographing, videotaping or taking notes.
The memo paints a negative image of protestors and independent reporters, and was issued a day before rank and file officers take to the streets to work during the demonstrations. [Full Story]

Our Rally began on time. Angelwood's daughter sang the National Anthem. Dave stated she did an outstanding and professional performance. Tax Man read Red Skelton's rendition of the Pledge of Allegiance. It was a very moving moment. Pro2aMom, of the 2nd Amendment Sisters, is now speaking.
The Capitol Police are doing an excellent job. Several of the "Rally Against War & Racism" nitwits tried to disrupt our rally. The Capital Police is reported to have made several arrests and hauled them away.
I told Dave that C-SPAN is broadcasting the anarchist's rally. He said a reporter/media type told him if the Patriots Rally folks start any trouble with the opposition, then they might get some coverage. (Just Freeping amazing).

In the last half hour Connie "CAL" read a speach written by Rush Limbaugh. Dave Dilegge was an unscheduled speaker and spoke on how it is to be a Marine and proud American. Joseph Farah of WorldNetDaily just finished his speach.
The crowd continues to grow with tourists joining and buying Patriots Rally For America buttons. Dave estimates our forces to about 400 plus. The Radical nitwits are still trying to infiltrate, but the Capitol Police are moving them out.
