As we all know I am forever trying to understand liberals. That's your first mistake. Liberalism is a mental disorder; that being so, have you ever tried to reason with a mentally ill person?

As much as liberals drive me nuts, I haven't heard any accuse the President of planning the 9-11 attacks. Why would you "jump on their site", as you put it? What site?

The "alien" thing comes from that French author who wrote the book claiming that a plane didnt hit the pentagon.

As we all know I am forever trying to understand liberals.Don't try. A few months ago I divested myself of my last liberal acquaintance. I say "acquaintance" because they are not "friends." It was like taking a bothersome pebble out of my shoe. Such relief!

What on earth are you talking about does the National Enquirer have DU website?
To: hapy
Wow, all liberals think that Bush planned the 9-11 attacks, and that aliens were involved? And they have an official website? Gosh, what a bombshell!
Honestly, there are plenty of reasons to dislike/disagree with what the majority of liberals believe in. But to imply that even a majority of liberals, much less all, believe either of the above scenarios is ridiculous and uninformed. Try, "Why do some people believe...." or even "why do a few liberals believe....". Not "Why do liberals believe...". It just makes you look silly.

It's been my experience, that the DemocRATS want to be in control. Control of EVERYthing!
Now they do not have 'their' man in office, they will do and say anything trying to pull the popularity back to THEIR side. And most of the time, what they say just turns out to be something from a looney bin.
Trying to get the Dems to work with the Republicans is next to impossible. There are too many differences between them and us.
Look how Streisand and Alex spout off all the time...and THEY aren't even IN the Senate. But they just keep showing their butts. It will never change.

GW was in Sarasota on 9/11 and was genuinely troubled when informed about the WTC. The demonrats were screaming that GW was a coward on 9/11 and now they scream that he had prior knowledge of it...and some "people" see no problem with this contradiction.

someone please explain how one's mind can believe this The have no guiding principles, so they make it up as they go along. They live totally in the gray area and have since the 60s when they came of age and threw off thousands of years of recorded history and their parents' values because as children of the 60s they were the best and the brightest. That's my 2 cents anyway.

The conspiracy theories currently found at DU aren't significantly different than many of the ones found here at FR back during the height of Clintoon's tenure.
