President Bush concluded his weekend meeting with British Prime Minster Tony Blair today in Crawford, TX. Blair spoke to a crowd at George Bush Senior Presidential Library Center at College Station, Texas where he said that Iraq must allow weapons inspections or face the consequences. President Bush headed back to the White House this afternoon. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

G'night Homeschool mama. It has been fun. The progression of tonight's Dose has been fascinating, eh?
I'm going to have to learn how to use those little face things. You use them SO well.
I see, based on your last post, that you are already taking your new Goddess of Water position quite seriously. LOL!!!!

Yikes...baby names. Yes, let's think about that tomorrow.
I'm off to bed myself. Sweet dreams all. Perhaps we will wake up tomorrow and all will be well in the Middle East. Just think, no more Yassar....Ah, to sleep, perchance to dream!

I only have two more years to go....oh well, you have to accept those things you can't do anything about!Amen, sister! I've got a year and three months to go until the big 5-0! Now if I could just get going on the losing weight!! I DO NOT want to be fat and fifty!! But I'll take 50 either way; I'd prefer it over the alternative!

I think most imported wines DON'T have the sulphites. It's also what was making some people sick who ate at salad bars. It bothers me too. Happy (hic) searching ;-)
Please keep praying ... have we have ever seen such global turmoil in our lives that's so fraught with catastrophe? And yes .. God Bless our wonderful, brave President .. with the complete weight of the world on his shoulders.

LOL .. every time I see that wine, Mouton-Cadet, I crack up. One of my former boss's sons was being taken out for his 18th birthday, and he was able to have wine for the first time (legally) out at dinner. He was given the wine list, and proceeded to order the "Motown Cadet (as in military student) .. LOL!

Now you've gone and done it! Posted a mountain / water / trees photo of your fav state. Well, the NW has some gor-jamatamous places, too! Eastern side of Olympic Mountains in Washington:
I make no claim to the number of dems or pubblies in the highlands; however, the best part is, no matter what their political persuasion or lack of it, there just aren't many of them one way or the other, up there!

I will stop with this one
before anyone has to remind me what the topic of the thread is!. Here is Hurricane Ridge in the Northern Olympics, from which a traveler may look northwards to our great neighbor, Canada, across the Straits of Juan de Fuca, and feast the eyes on lovely Victoria, BC. Down the road a piece, at turn-outs facing east, one may enjoy the vast expanses of Puget Sound and the Cascade Range, notably Mt. Rainier and her sisters. Taking a sea plane from Seattle to Victoria is a hoot. You fly at about 700' altitude so you get to see
everything. I've got better photos of Hurricane Ridge that I took myself, but I don't have a scanner, and apparently the good ones online are in some sort of copyright cabal so I will link to this fuzzy one. It's one of the most spectacular things I've ever seen. Nice trails to hike around on, too. On the other side of the mountains is the ocean, so this rugged old range shelters us from many ravages of the sea.
Remember, here we have waterfalls, rain, forests, rain forests, ocean, rivers galore, majestic mountain ranges, rain, volcanoes, a salt water sound, ferries, rain, canals, lakes, and a lushness that could almost make a person (me) cry. For those who prefer hot and dry climes, Eastern Washington will meet one's desires perfectly.

I interrupt all the discussion about CA and water and wine and the spawn of #97 and such to say something "on topic" .....
RWP ~~~ that's a great picture of our President ..... and thank you again and again for bringing us our Dose of sanity in a crazy mixed-up world each evening.
Looks like you've earned more overtime pay this weekend ....... and we are very, very appreciative!

I used to know which wines were bad, but you could check if kosher wine is made without sulfites. If you can't find out, I may be able to find that list somewhere in my many stored files.

WTC items featuring the bull horn he used to address the rescue workers at ground zero. They found it? I read that because the event had not been planned that his aides didn't think immediately to grab it, and later spent a week trying to find it for posterity to no avail.

Oh my...a Sunday dose and I missed it !!!! My son was on the computer all night - I hadn't a clue. But I was with you in spirit, as I was thoroughly enjoying a very nice Pinot Grigio. Great pictures of our President, Laura and of course the stars of this fabulous administration, Barney and Spot !!! :-) Time for work..........
