Clinton Daughter to Announce Wedding Engagement in June
San Francisco Examiner ^ | Week of April 4, 2002 | P.J. Corkery

Posted on 04/07/2002 11:26:22 AM PDT by codebreaker

Daddy Bill Clinton took his daughter and her beau, the pride of Belvedere Ca., Ian Klaus, around the new Tate Modern Art Gallery in London last week.

Says a conviently placed Londoner to a London paper, 'President Clinton seemed comfortable with Ian and glad that his daughter found a decent man.'

The trio toured the galleries with the rest of the public, but with a security detail of 12

Bubba bought drinks for the young couple.

Chelsea and Ian, who met at a rally of students at Oxford post-9/11, are expected to announce their engagement by June

In case you are wondering, Klaus's parents, the eminent and respectable Robin and Patricia of Belvedere, are both longtime Democrats.

Well, after you remark on this thread about the bride, I *was* going to put you in charge of "catty remarks" but then I knew some others would be offended. :-)

We could use some help on appropriate wedding and/or religious music though!

Perhaps Chelsea can tell us about her jog to the World Trade Center that put her 2-3 miles from the location that morning. (according to the Talk Magazine article)

She has definitely inherited the gene for splitting the truth.

Chelse, if you want to keep him that way keep him away from the "I did not have sex with that woman, Miss Lewinsky" scumbag and his wife aka "I don't recall" and dba "Senator know nothing".

The media will try and make this the largest event of the year. In short it is the media who care.

I guess I am hoping this takes place in Washington so the wedding takes over Hillary's Mansion 'Salon' and she is forced to sleep in her 98th in Seniority Senate office.

I will just go to Costco and get a king size box of white garbage bags and a king size box of black garbage bags.

I would recommend that we all wear beach thongs on our feet.

Then we can each purchase a Moniker Licker Blue Beret to top off our dress bags.

His parents are super elite wealthy left winger/whiners from Marin County, home of Johnny Jihad. That is probably all that we need to know about him!

I have a song you may not know that might be appropriate. However, I have to write all the lyrics, so that you get the full effect of the song.

I will be happy to come to the wedding and sing it.

Around the corner, and under a tree the Sergeant Major said to me,
"Who would marry you? I would like to know,
Cause every time I look at your face, it makes me want to go
Around the corner, and under a tree"......

Lovely sentiment for this occasion, isn't it?
It may be repeated as many times as is deemed necessary to make the point.

Don't you think that we will look sharp in our white garbage bages, with a Blue Moniker Licker Beret on our heads and wearing beach thongs/sandals with no socks.

The ladies can buy the Moniker Licker Blue Dress special from the Gap and then splatter the front of their dresses with mayonese. They too can wear the jaunty Moniker Licker Blue Berets perched jauntily on their gelled down hair.

I don't think VP/Queen Hillary can wait until Spring 2005 for a White House wedding for Webb Hubble's daughter, but she might try.

This wedding could have the longest engagement in history!

Let's not forget the other relevant thread du jour about Oxford University's displeasure with Ian's and Chelsea's globetrotting when they're supposed to be at school.

The beret or the Blue Moniker licker Dress from the Gap or was it Old Navy or both of them.

Besure to get matching blue thongs. It is really tacky to have the wrong color of thongs at a wedding party.

I love the berets, how about paperback copies of 'Leaves of Grass' to give to attendees as gifts?

I'd like to offer the services of Hillary's Lovely Legs and myself to cover the star-studded gala reception at Friendly's.

Here's one... Ms. C. Klinton could get married at WWF's Wrestlemania. During the shotgun wedding, just before the "I dos," the Rock and Triple H will do a Run-In to the ring - the winner of a Cage Match will get to have Billary's daughter's hand in marriage.

No doubt, the best wedding gift will be Daddy Klinton's pick-'em-up truck (the one lined with Astroturf). Don't forget those silk knee pads darlin'.
