Clinton Daughter to Announce Wedding Engagement in June
San Francisco Examiner ^ | Week of April 4, 2002 | P.J. Corkery

Posted on 04/07/2002 11:26:22 AM PDT by codebreaker

Daddy Bill Clinton took his daughter and her beau, the pride of Belvedere Ca., Ian Klaus, around the new Tate Modern Art Gallery in London last week.

Says a conviently placed Londoner to a London paper, 'President Clinton seemed comfortable with Ian and glad that his daughter found a decent man.'

The trio toured the galleries with the rest of the public, but with a security detail of 12

Bubba bought drinks for the young couple.

Chelsea and Ian, who met at a rally of students at Oxford post-9/11, are expected to announce their engagement by June

In case you are wondering, Klaus's parents, the eminent and respectable Robin and Patricia of Belvedere, are both longtime Democrats.

"Says a conviently placed Londoner to a London paper, 'President Clinton seemed comfortable with Ian and glad that his daughter found a decent man.'"

Chelsea is a liability.

After the bwitch officially left x42, chelsea and x were seen everywhere on the planet ... hugging, holding each other, etc. Of course a token gram'ma was tethered along, but the bond between chelsea and x42 was ... well ... in many eyes .... er, ... unnatural.

That being said,
Chelsea is whisked off to England and in violation of every rule the school has, attends Oxford and never attends Oxford.
Meets a slickster (this is not a set-up .... repeat after me ... this is not a set-up) and Shazam! public displays of affection, tongue diving, disappearing from view long enough to ... (near sinks?), wedding bells.

Wedding bells?

Perhaps more like WEEDing bells.

Neither 'parent' has ever parented this child, now grown and thoroughly indoctrinated into world affair affairs (read that however you wish ... I know how I read it), and with a major bartering psychology (having been around the crusted feminazi one for so long, does anyone really think Chelsea has anything approaching a normal or healthy attitude towards love, sex and marriage)?

Nope.

Chelsea's gotta' go and Klaus fits the bill.

(I don't know if a pun is intended in that last remark ... it just came out, made sense in an excrutiating way and I decided to let it stand)

How big is the National Cathedral, I hate to say but the celebs will flock in droves..this is a chance to quietly pontificate about how Dubya robbed them in Flordia and plot strategy.

If it becomes as tacky as the Liza wedding some may stay away..

Plus her Secret Service protection runs out when she leaves Oxford.

Running back home to Washington/New York ensures more taxpayer security funded clubbing at Moomba L.A., Studio 54 etc.

Speaking of the library, won't the Klinton library be right next to a river (is it the Arkansas?) in Little Rock?

It would be so sweeeeet-a if it rains big bunches up stream - all that water would travel south spilling over the banks near the library washing away all the stinky history of the Billary years.

Well, it is huge. It can accomodate about 2000, I think.

That is why we have to get the buzz about tackiness and boycotts up and running right now. A pre-emptive strike is most important.

I have hopes that Chelsea will settle down to a normal life someday, but I really doubt it.

Once she has gotten a taste of life with Madonna, Gwynnie and Versace it is hard to keep the Arkansas girl back on the farm.

I agree, we have to be on alert for every tacky moment and raw power grab coming down the line.

That was the only thing that prevented Whitney Houston and other Hollywierd celebs from going to New York for the Liza shinding-The fear that their own career would suffer badly from attending

It is all about image and stature, not real emotion.

I don't think Chelsea is a real liability until she gets kicked out of Oxford.

The soccer moms just think she is 'getting away with breaking the rules for romance' but if she blows an opportunity and gets kicked out of school, the press will be called on to run the sorrow pieces-saying that it wasn't her fault that Ian made her do it.

About the wedding gifts, I can't think of a thing I would like to give them, but gifts others might give came to mind:

From Mom: FBI files for future protection
From Dad: Silk Knee Pads
From Denise Rich: A donation for a boob job
From Terry McAuliffe: An early tip on the next Global Crossing type startup

*****If this turn out to be true...

***COMING TO A GENERAL INTERST THREAD NEAR YOU***

Mr. and Mrs. William Jefferon Clinton
request the honour of your presence
at the
Wedding of their daugher, Chelsea

***Thread***

If this turns out to be true, we most certainly WILL have a thread running from day to day in the General Interest Forum. This is a social and political event that the people of Free Repubic cannot possibly afford to let pass them by.

As a beginning, we, of course, will ask Miss Marple to be our protocol expert; we are asking codebreaker, mountaineer and daisyscarlett to be our head "news/gossip" reporters. I will be asking kcvl and Dog to be our chief investigators, since they both can find absolutely everything on the internet. We'll be needing LOTS of investigation into the backgrounds, views, opinions of the bridal party, the guest, and, needless to say, we'll all have to scout through the news, i.e. newspapers, radio, and TV, to find out what is saying what to whom about whom!

We will be depending on seamole and backhoe to set us up a bump list, of course. And is there any doubt that we ask Dales to keep up with the "cash flow?" HAL9000 will be pinged to keep us up to date on who is who and what they may possibly be guilty of, as well as any tax problems the upcoming event may drag the Clintons into! We will enlist the expert techniques of kristinn and Angelwood and ironman to advice and information on the facilities and their "insider" information. We will be depending on hole_n_one and Luis Gonzalez for "screen shots."

There will be PLENTY of work for everybody to do! And we are depending on you for any items you hear, or any suggestions you may have.

If you have ping lists, use them, please!

DISCLAIMER and/or WARNING: Malcontents and disruptors will be suitably trashed.
