I think that the lady on the right's sign would be more accurate if it said"My great big fat body, my choice". Didja ever notice that the most rabidly, pro-abortion women are either lesbians or so ugly they'd have trouble conceiving in vitro?

Misleading. The picture on the right was actually snapped in front of a Jenny Craig weight loss center.

I used to work for Jeff White.

I've protested Dr. Morris's home. At no time did he get boxed in on the windy mountain road. It's intersting to see the bias against the pro-life movement (aka Mr. White's "version" of the story). It's assumed that what he says actually happened a different way. It's sad that the benefit of the doubt isn't given.

I've was on quite a few of those minuteman rescues, and there was no violence other than an occasional patient punching one of us in the face.

Also, I've seen how events actually happen. We were arrested by police who drum up charges to protect themselves. (For instance, I lay limp on a road and wouldn't cooperate with being arrested, so they applied pain compliance on my neck and wrist. The arresting officer then charged ME with assualt on an officer!!!)

In California, a police officer MUST take into custody someone placed under citizens arrest. They DO NOT have the choice not too. However, experience has shown that they often refuse to.

Dr. Morris is a very sad case. He actually quite killing children for a while: A patient who changed her mind later came in with her baby and told Dr. Morris that he almost killed the baby. Dr. Morris was deeply troubled and touched, and for a while, quit killing. Then he started again. So sad.

Ehrenreich has such a blind spot..

When he writes that a film shows

" .. a few minutes of tiny red severed fetal legs and hands being poked and jiggled, for maximum gross-out effect, with tweezers and forceps,

...he fails to realize what the young pregnant women are realizing....They are seeing more than a dead child being jiggled. They are seeing a child being jiggled who was recently tortured and killed by medical instruments.

The truly gross part is the killing, not the post-killing jiggling

...white supremacistlinked U.S. Taxpayers Party...

If I were Howard Phillips, there would be a libel lawsuit coming for this. White supremacist-linked USTP? What a crock!

Images have the power to persist in our memories.

These women seem to realize one picture of a killed fetus is worth a thousand words. I think that they are afraid that people will look at the pictures of the fetuses and think about the trauma endured by the aborted child. (Perhaps the women are afraid to face up to the painful truth themselves.)

Either way, he doesn't let the jeers and blows get him down.

Its amazing how much most people hate the truth.

In my state (Washington) as part of the money they "won" from the tobacco companies, they have put up full billboard adds with horribly disgusting pictures. Pictures of blackened lungs, yellow (and rotten) teeth, and the like. And there aren’t just a few of these. In my town a loan there are about 8, two of which are in the same spot, on different sides of the street. It is nearly impossible to go through a day without seeing one. And this was done by the state. Personally, I don’t think you should display publicly horribly graphic material like this. But if the lefties on the tobacco war are doing it, let the righties on the abortion war to do the same. Perhaps she should start taking out billboard space.

How many times has the 'anti-abortion' movement been proclaimed dead? I believe Operation Rescue was responsible for the gradual move of opinion AWAY from the pro-abortion side. Most surveys I have seen recently show over half of Americans NOT supporting abortion for any reason whatsoever.

The pro-life movement has been stymied by well-funded folks with well-heeled lawyers who are willing to drag people into court. That is their jobs! Pro-life folks are just regular people living regular lives working regular jobs and can't afford to be taken from their families! But as much as these people try to intimidate the workers in the pro-life movement, their pro-life ideas are still having an effect on people. There are more young people showing up every year at the March for Life; they are now realizing that their generation is short a few million because of abortion and that is disturbing to them.
