QUOTE OF THE DAY: ...for example, this will be the first time the Vowelles have ever been to the White House. (Laughter.) Theo and Cleo Lion are also here to sing a song titled "W Trouble." (Laughter.) I don't know the song, but the theme is familiar. (Laughter.) My mom often used to say, "The trouble with W" -- (laughter) -- although she didn't put that to words.

Thank you so much for sharing them with the rest of the United States for these (hopefully) eight years!

Say, can we borrow the lion and the "W" for the next 4 weeks up here in Cheese Central? We need all the help we can get to ensure that the ex-county executive (a real-life Boss Hogg unaffectionately known as FU Ament) isn't replaced by FU Lite.

Cute pics rintense!! Wow! Mr. Rogers sure has gotten OLD!! I kind of liked Mr. Rogers when the kids were really young; he was a nice change from the frenetic pace of Sesame Street and some of the other shows on PBS. My youngest son's favorite shows were Magis School Bus and Bill Nye the Science Guy. He learned a lot from those shows; he could explain the circulatory system when he was 5 yrs. old!

Prayers are needed for Freeper Homeschool Mama and her daughter, who were in a car accident yesterday. Their van was rear-ended and completely totaled. HS Mama will need a bunch of chiropractic work, but her daughter seems to be ok.

Oh my gosh! I am so glad that you mentioned this on the Dose because I might have missed it otherwise! Being as we are fellow Californians who attended a Condit FReep together last summer, we have become good friends. I was thinking about her this afternoon for some reason and sent her FReep Mail from work.

Homeschool mama, I am so sorry to hear about your car being totaled but I am so glad that you and your daughter are both going to be ok!

Oh these pictures are so cute. Laura looks just lovely in #1. I can just guess at "the trouble with W...". I don't know how many times in my life I have said to my boys, "you are driving me crazy". (and still are :0)....Thank God. )

My friends and I used to laugh together at the end of the day while the kids were watching Mr. Rogers, that Mr. Rogers was telling US that "he liked us just they way we were." It was always good to hear, after the end of a long day, that SOMEONE liked us.!!! Thanks again for the Dose, Rintense
