Vanity-Prayer request

I've seen this done by others; dunno if it helps. But it can't hurt. Forgive the vanity, but a good friend of mine is undergoing cancer surgery this Tuesday. Prayers and good thoughts are appreciated. Her name is Katherine. Thank you very much.

Our prayers are with Katherine. I have asked for prayer here several times for family members.
I just know the prayers are answered.

Amen - mombonn. Kayak - thanks for the ping. Praying for Katherine now.
(Praying also for my mother in law who faces a surgical procedure this week also (colon polyp removal - noncancerous we hope - this is 2nd one - other was noncancerous - but still dangerous) this Thursday. She is apprehensive.)
Dear God, bring peace and calm to Katherine and my mother in law as they face their surgeries this week. Comfort them with the knowledge of your very real presence with them through whatever is ahead. Bless the medical personnel doing the procedures and give them the strength, the insights, and the decisions that will make for healing. And, dear Lord, please bring your healing mercies in to these situations, on behalf of each person. Bless and comfort and strengthen also those there with these friends and loved ones. Thank you for hearing and answering these prayers, in Jesus' name. Amen.
