Good Friday Update:
The printer will be done with the initial order after the Easter break week. If you have already emailed me on this check your inbox for a Spam response that went out today. If you haven't signed up do so now and you will get yours along with everyone else. Don't be shy about asking for more than one. Take five, ten or twenty and pass them out. Shooting ranges, business owners, power consumers and even some union folks can't stand DAVIS.....its time to DUMP this turkey.
Please Email me if you want me to send you some of these. I am having 5000 of them made. A self addressed stamped envelope would be required. Send Email, you will be archived and spammed with instructions including my address and a request for Qty.
Go Simon!

No way would I dump a fellow flyfisherman!
We need to talk someday since we share a common interest in flyfishing.

Orange County chapter bump.

freep mail me sometime after the middle of April, and we will talk about fly fishing.
I intend to hit some streams/rivers after Easter as water flows are down for this time of the year in many rivers. It is warm here finally, and even in my back yard, we are having great midge hatches and even some blue wing olive hatches. We have a little season creek in front of our house about 75' away.
I got an email from a friend who was on the lower Sac yesterday. He caught and released 20 native rainbows (smallest one was 20 inches) in relative low river flows of 6,000 fpm. Normal, this time of the year is over 10,000 fpm, which means you can't wade. I have a new Spey rod and can get an indicator and sinking nymph out or up 60 to 70' with a simple roll/lob cast. I can add 20+' with just a dry fly rig. I only have to wade out about to about 12 inches of water for these casts. That saves wear and tear on an old man, and is a lot less dangerous re unplanned trips down stream, screaming help!

Lights out for Davis.

With my luck, it will get hot and Fascist Davis will order the water to be released at 15,000 fpm next week to make hydro electricity.
When the water flows that fast, you have be 3 times as tall as rogue bull elephant and 3 times as heavy to safely wade and fish the lower Sac.. Even floating it is a losing prop..
My son went up last year with his one man Steelheader dual tube floater. He was down stream to the carryout point in less than 3 hours, normal flows would have taken 6 to 8 hours. He caught one fish, and he is better than most guides. He went three weeks later with a guide in a drift boat, and they made the trip in 2.5 hours. He caught the only fish of the day, a little 16 to 18 incher.
