I think it would be nice to collect a list of all of the things President Bush has accomplished thus far in his term. In an effort to provide FAIR and BALANCED coverage to President Bush's administration, I thought interested Freepers could post accomplishments, both large and small, which they appreciate.
Please do not hesitate to list EO's, roll-backs of EO's, regulation changes with which you are familiar, etc.
All positive accomplishments are welcome. If you have negative comments, please post them on the other thread. Thank you.
TOPICS: Your Opinion/Questions

I like the way I have to have no principles to make you feel good about yourself. Carry on.

I can keep the channel on when GWB appears on the TV screen, without suffering an intense rush of nausea. That's an improvement over the previous occupant.
Yes. indeed.

Signing a bill into law that is clearly unconstitutional is a violation of his oath. Pushing legislation that seeks to legalize criminal aliens is also a violation in my opinion. I am not calling for that to happen, but I do think a literal interpretation could support such a call.
I think Bush is messing with fire here. There are going to be people who see these as a core issues. I can't damn them for that.

Appointment of Michael Powell as chairman of the FCC.
You gotta be a computer/telecom geek like me to care about this, but if you do, it's really a big deal. It's the first time in my memory that the FCC is being run by someone who actually believes in free market economics.

The most generous post I've seen in YEARS on FR. Thanks.

Ummmmmm, For arguments sake, do you really mean to suggest that there is a possibility, that a twentysomething intern, might be orally servicing him as he discusses troop info with a congressman, or that she is performing analingus on him in the bathroom?
I hate to say it, but that's idiotic.
And the abscence of such possibility, is a tremendous restoration from the previous tenant.

President Bush makes me proud to be an American and after the last 8 years,it doesn't get any better than that. I couldn't have said it any better.

Miss M,
Thanks for the thread. Here's my part.
1. Defeated Albert Gore, Jr. and saved us from 12 consecutive years of Presidential Barf-bags.
2.Is restoring credibility to American military power-needed now more than ever.
3.Respects American soverignty, rejecting international treaties and courts which would destroy the same.
4.Committed to the appointment of conservative jurists for long-lasting impact on American law and culture.
5. Is not beholden to the Clintonist special interest groups--homosexual special rights groups, abortion industry, femiNazis, teacher's union, NAALCP, Chicoms, and left-wing terrorists.
6.Is hated by the Left for all he stands for (and the Left is showing more political acumen than many on the Right, who seem determined to rush into quick and sure political defeat rather than engage in the long, difficult, but necessary fight for incremental victory.)

Great response..... It'll take me hours to figure out it's complexity and depth. Hit you with that 2 plus 2 question again did he?
