That's the problem. There's nothing we can do about it, except to take their ability to kill Jews en masse away.
The only way for this to change is for the change to come internally. Islam needs to reform.
We know it can. Turkey is a modern democratic state where Islam has about the same influence as Christianity has in America. The state is secular and the religion is relatively benign.
But until the rest of the Arab world follows suit, all we can do is kill their terrorists and point guns at the rest of them in self-defense.
That's certainly my take on the situation.
Maybe some here have seen this "document" I am about to post, it is a Palestinian broadcast made about this very subject. I ask that you come and take a look at it, let me know if you have heard or seen this before Sept. 11. If this broadcast then was true, it is enough to make anyone sick with frustration trying to find answers.

I am not sure if you would like how I feel about this whole thing. From my extensive experience of this nut cases, I mean the Arabs and the Israelis!...You going to say wow! The Arabs are a bunch of savages (you are correct), but the Israelis are innocents (that is not correct)!
First, the reason for all the hysteria, and hate is religions. Why can’t people in the know, the intelligencia just simply come out and tell the ignorant masses that ALL RELIGIONS ARE JUST MAN MADE! You don’t need to get too crazy about these things! I am wondering, even though, I am a right winger, if the communists were correct in deemphasizing religions? The whole idea that GOD TOLD ME SO, is just very questionable. But people in the twenty first century are still in denial to put their theology under the microscope. It is far too simple for say a Christian to laugh at a Hindu for believing that God is a cow! The Hindu guy also can very easily reject all the hoopla about a carpenter that died on a cross. The Christian guy would shake to his deepest being if he would allow himself to inspect the rationale of his theology.
Now this is not suppose to be a preaching on religions, I am just pointing out how human simply refuse to put themselves in other people shoes to understand and examine facts. So back to the Arabs/Israelis/religions mess; here we have a Jew living in LA, with cars, hundred TV channels, and shopping malls; he decides to put all that behind to go and live in the desert among savages, and start learning a difficult new language (Hebrew) just because God told him so? What is wrong with this picture? On the other hand, here we have a young boy listening to his preacher saying if you go kill yourself in the name of Allah, you will get 72 virgins in heaven? Most of us think, well that does not make sense (which is correct) it does not, but so is leaving LA to build a settlement among the savages.
Yes we need to send psychiatrists to the Middle East not diplomats. However, I think it would be better for most inhabitants of this planet to recognize that religion books were simply written by Humans to establish codes of conduct between people. People, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THESE BOOKS TOO SERIOUSLY!
Having said so, I am not sure people can allow themselves do doubt their core believe system that was ingrained in them since birth. All I can hope for is that writers should keep writing these kinds of analogies to open people’s eyes to self examining their theologies.
Translate and publish the textbooks used in these countries. Publish them online for everyone in the world to see.

A touchy feely peace on Israeli-Arab "cooperation". An island of tranquility in the Middle East where Jews and Arabs work together, where everyone is treated with respect, and where lives are valued and saved.
Watching, you would think this was some joint project.
It isn't.
They profiled the Haddasah Hospital. A place with Arab doctors and other staff working with Jewish colleagues. A place where all Arabs get world class medical care without discrimination
This is a Jewish hospital in Israel. It is an example of how Jews/Israelis treat the Arabs, only. It is not a joint venture. It is not how Arabs treat Jews- given the chance.
It was mentioned briefly, but for those who don't know, in 1948 Arabs massacred the staff, doctors and nurses of this hospital. They mutilated the corpses.
Notwithstanding the Jewish/Israeli good will of this hospital, who thinks that today a massacre of the Jewish staff would not occur- were the Arabs able.
I'm glad I'm a Jew, and I'm glad that after all, my people remain humane, but I'm getting angrier and angrier at what we endure.
