President Bush and First Lady Laura are on their way to Latin America for a four-day trip with visits to Mexico, Peru and El Salvador. In a stop-over in El Paso, TX, Bush spoke to a crowd about increasing security at our nation's borders. He also visited a local customs inspection area. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Hey RoT... I agree. This is just like the immigration hysteria that happened before 9-11. When, and that's a big *WHEN* the bill is signed, I will post my opinions then. But until that point, it is wasted energy getting into a pissing contest with so many others...

Can I ask what your theory might be? Im willing to take ANY theory and weigh it, but I cant see any way Bush wont sign this. Him simply signing it shows he knowingly is not fallowing through on an oath....but Ill wait to see your theory.

And to me, this is where the brillance of this bill comes in. If he signs it, the SCOUTS will more than likely shoot down the unconstitutional parts. The remaineder will, in essence, be what he outlined in his campaign. The kicker here is do we trust the SCOUTS?

You're a treasure, rintense. Is Laura getting better looking as the days go by or are my eyes just getting older?

But not now... I really want to see the bright side of it... I havent ripped my Bush-Cheney sticker off my car, I havent registered D or started smoking pot in anger of Bush. I am just upset at him saying he will sign it even with "Some contitutional issues".

Hey, I
know I saw the President walk over to his lovely bride after his speech today, and
kiss her! (I have radar for these things with our First Couple! LOL!).
Are there no pictures of that sweet moment, rintense??

Just de-lurking (for the 1st time!) to offer a little support. Things seem a tad tense around here but I wanted you to know how VERY much I appreciate all you do. This silent observer is quite grateful.
To: smith288
Would it be too much to ask if you WAITED until he actually DOES something and LISTEN to what he SAYS when he does it?

....but Ill wait to see your theory. Then why don't you go to another thread to discuss this? This is first and foremost a thread where we view and discuss the pictures that have been taken to make a record of Mr. Bush's daily life while he is President of the United States.
To: mystery-ak; all
If people want to politely discuss this, I don't have a problem with that. But it's the disruptors, flammers, etc. that are not welcome. Considering what has been said in the past few days, Smith was being very kind and tacful. And I'll thank anyone for being so.

I guess we're looking at a 50/50 chance...

If he doesnt sign it, then he lies (per his released statement saying he will sign it), if he does sign it, then he is signing something with known constitutional issues... But a i will digress and let this thread go to Rintense. I have to hand it to her. She is consitent and is loyal. Even when Bush raises concerns for many of us. I hope whatever comes of this, Bush comes out on top and we all laugh about it later.
I will end the political discussion and mention how GOOD Laura looks compared to the past first, last lady. :)
