Virginia FReepers! - Time to give John RINO Warner the Heave HO!
3/21/2002 | P8riot

Virginia Freepers - John RINO Warner has oversytayed his welcome! He has turned his back on the people of Virginia, and the United States. His betrayal of his oath to uphold the Constitution, by virtue of his vote in favor of the McCain-Feingold bill, has confirmed what alot of us already knew concerning his liberal leanings.

Fellow Virginians, now is the time to deal a blow for freedom in this Commonwealth, and the country as a whole. The United States, and the people of Virginia deserve someone who will look after their welfare, and their Constitutional Rights. Today let us begin the search for the man or woman of the highest character, who will hold to the highest ideals, and who will stand in the gap for all Virginians. Let us elect someone who will treat the Constitution with the highest respect, and will not compromise their beliefs based on political expedience, someone who will fight for the freedoms that we all hold so dear.

This great nation began in our Commonwealth. The lamp of freedom was kindled almost exactly two hundred sevenety seven years ago by no less a Virginian than Patrick Henry, the first governor of our free commonwealth, when he said:

"If we wish to be free-- if we mean to preserve inviolate those inestimable privileges for which we have been so long contending--if we mean not basely to abandon the noble struggle in which we have been so long engaged, and which we have pledged ourselves never to abandon until the glorious object of our contest shall be obtained--we must fight!"

Our nation's struggle began here, and it ended here at Yorktown in 1781.Today we are engaged in another struggle, the struggle to preserve the freedoms for which so many of our countrymen gave their lives. This struggle may not be with the use of arms, but it is a war nevertheless. The struggle is against a philosophy that threatens the very fabric of our wills. Our heritage compels us to action, and our freedoms and livelyhoods demand it.

Let us go forward now, and deliver a message to John Warner that we hold him responsible for the errosion of freedoms in our land. Indeed, we are the only ones this side of judgement that can do this. Those in other states who are likewise disposessed must also do the same in regard to their representatives. Let us select such a person as will be the true representative of the people of our great Commonwealth. Let the search begin now. Contact the representatives, or other individuals, that you trust will uphold the highest ideals of our great Republic. Leave no stone unturned. We must not hold our peace now, or we will forced to do so forever.

Just like the Liberals, personal attacks some into effect when your argument gets weak and you have no facts to back up what your saying.

Print this post out. Someday you'll look back and realize just how silly you sound.

Now I live in Texas. Virginia is much more complicated - you put a WINNABLE candidate up against Warner and I'll agree.

That's been my contention too. There is no one that can beat him in the primary, and the only RAT that could beat him has only been Governor about two months...

John Warner will win, with or without my help. So, it's without.

Please accept my apologies.

Accepted. I knew that's what you meant, I just wanted to make sure everybody else did and take another chance to say that SCDC is an 18-year-old from California.

I have shoes older than that.

I want him gone since he's a gun grabber. Maybe Virgil Goode can replace him.

LOL - I still have the shirt I was wearing when I reported to North Island Navy base in San Diego. That was 22 years ago.

I'm delighted at your reply.

I know two JBS members where I live. If their guy didn't get the primary election, they would stop voting.

That you work tirelessly for Republicans - and yes, they don't always deserve the vote - is great.

Going back to the origional post - and I ask this with respect - if it is a fairly conservative Warner as opposed to a Robb, etc., who must you/I support?

That is my question and his motivation to the origional poster.

Does he/she not support/not vote for the better of the two?

Or just bitch that the Republican was not "pure" enought for his/her support, lending default support for the worse candidate.

Don't rip on him because he's young(although I disagree with him here on John Warner). Attack what he says.

I've seen some 60+ year olds that aren't worthy to shine his shoes.

I'm speaking as a 23 year old who never missed an election and treasures a pro-2a PAC. Personally, I could care less about age. If I see a 60 year old that is wrong on the issues, I'll tell him(and I back it up). I don't care.

From reading this thread I argee with you. It's just post after post of hot-headed, small minded, reactionary politics. Nobody has yet stated who to actually VOTE FOR instead of Warner. I guess they forget about that part of the process.

It is sad to see FR being taking over by the tinfoil hat wearers. The same people that always claim the Hillary FBI files made them do it. The same people that lower the Rino bar to a 96% ACU rating. (In order words, you shouldn't be a Republican and should switch over to the Democrats if you don't have a voting record in the top 4%.) The same people that throw Jefford (ACU 29%) in the same boat as (Warner ACU 96%).

Believe me Dan, I am not trying to praise Warner, I just think it's stupid to waste our time fighting other Republicans when there are still a bunch of Rat commies in the House and Senate. If I lived in Virginia and Ollie North ran against Warner and he had a good chance of winning in the general election I would be the first one to vote for him, but until that doesn't happen I see no advantage in attacking him right now.

Please don't think we're cutting you down because of your age. It's all good natured. You'll understand in about 27 years. When you get older, you'll wonder where the time went. Enjoy your youth. With your leanings you're off to a good start.

I don't give a rip about ACU ratings. If a person is 100% right on everything outside the 2nd amendment, as far as I'm concern, he sucks.

That's my first loyalty. If a democrat like Rick Boucher ran against Warner, I'd vote for Boucher in a minute, especially after he screwed over Ollie North.

Warner is a true RINO. He is responsible for keeping Ollie North out of the Senate. He also happens to be dumb as a rock.

Can I assume that you two would've spoken out against Ronald Reagan challenging Ford in '76?

I am amazed that not a single post noted Elizabeth Taylor's evauation of John Warner. It went something like "he's the dumbest bastard I ever met".
