This is beginning to sound like we are going to have a shooting war along the border. These Mexican soldiers may have some financial interest in smuggling people or drugs and are trying to intimidate Border Patrol officers who are too close to the source of the smuggling.

A fence constructed by the Army Corps of Engineers and patrolled by our military would prevent these incidents in the future.
George Bush will pay for sneaking this amnesty bill through, behind the backs of the American people, come election time.

Maybe Bill O'Reilly is right. We may need a military presence along the border very soon. Our border patrol is trained and equipped to deal with illegal civilians crossing the border, not soldiers.

Hey, the First Marine Division is bivouacked just up the road from there--what's the problem, aside from balls, that is?

We don't need no stinkin GPS!

Sounds like a simple navigation error, I wouldn't make too much of it. U.S. Army patrols occassionally stumbled into Czechoslovakia during the Cold War. On at least one occassion they were collected by local lightly armed gendarmes, disarmed, detained and returned. I heard a story about a Pershing Missile battery looking for Grafenwehr training area, showing up at the Czechoslovak border. Fortunately, the local border guard didn't let them in.

"The March 10 incident signals a growing trend of Mexican military forces crossing into the United States." "This could have easely escalated into a real tragidy," Jacques told reporters. "Thankfully, cooler heads prevailed."
The American government cannot afford to continue feigning ignorance when these incidents happen, they know, the've been warned. As I speak, there are immigrant students in our schools instigating and promoting "Sedition".
We are the most gullible people on earth. America wants to believe that the world thinks the way they do, so they laugh at these incidents, wave them off as "issolated incidents" then forgets about it, and it grows, and grows.
If a gang of thugs publically warns you to your face they are coming into your home and "take over", do you shrudge your shoulders and say "it won't happen", America has been doing this so long they won't know what hit them till it is too late. This is just my opinion, but it will happen and our American College Campuses are and do protect and promote "Sedition".
When Mexican Soldiers have enough brass kahunna's to cross our borders, "armed" something they've not done since the Mexican War, what does that tell us about our government?
With all I've seen since 9-11, I call nothing a "trend", I do not shrudge my shoulders, I take any and all threats and incidents against America very serious, we should all take anti-American hate talk on our soil (in our schools) deadly serious. These stupid kids are not alone, they actually have other nations to back their seditioius speeches that are very willing to take up arms and kill Americans.
We've got men and women going into foreign countries, fighting and dying to keep them away from us, but right here at home we have a country that will someday take over from within, go figure. Our borders are a joke, but the joke will eventually be on us.

Well, anyone want a little action along the border? I would be willing to bet that a few people will be patrolling the border waiting for the Mexicans to cross the border.
To: JohnHuang2
This one is easy......"Remember the Alamo!"
To: JohnHuang2
If the United States is unable (actually unwilling) to defend its border against un-armed immigrants, it does not surprise me that the Mexican Army is taking advantage of this. These small-scale cross border operations give them certain intelligence in the event that Mexico decides to govern the U.S. land occupied by its citizens. Notice that in no instance did the Mexican Army encounter U.S. Defense Forces.

And, at the core level, the President does believe that you can have safe transportation on our roads, and that's a priority for the President and his budget reflects additional money to hire safety inspectors. And you can do so in a way that is not unfair to one of our major trading partners and to our good neighbor to the south, Mexico. Ari Fleischer, for the President, George W. Bush
Yeah, "our good neighbor to the south."

HEY MEXICO,HOW BOUT ANOTHER GO AT THE ALAMO?
To: JohnHuang2
I think that all of us who are opposed this invasion should call the White House and our congressmen at least once a day and demand them to put the military on the border and quit rewarding illegal aliens. All of us here can make a differnce if we keep the pressure on them. Educate everybody you know on this issue and hopefully word will spread about this invasion and our lawmakers will act. Maybe, someone with good graphic experience can make up little business cards with slogans that we can pass out and leave in different locations. If you put an idea out there in the public eventually it will stick. Just look at the left, they never give up and that is why most people just voluntarily bend over and submit to higher taxes. It's all for the children.

Does anyone think that Mexico is going to mount and armed incursion? Take off the tin foil...Please...Mexico will take over the Southwest by clogging our social services, flooding the labor market and electing socialist leaders...Ist already happening...
I wish it was as easy as pointing a gun
To: JohnHuang2
The sooner the shooting begins, the better. The massive invasion by Mexico, announced in 1995, has been going on for 7 years and needs to be stopped....there is only about 10 years left before it will be a moot issue.

Sounds like the Mexican Army is dealing drugs. --MM

the Mexican troopers then realized they were inside the U.S. and cooperated with the Border Patrol agentSo how much would it cost U.S. taxpayers to set up a 2000-mile chain-link fence with razor wire on top? They didn't realize they were in the U.S.? Something is wrong with this picture.
