VIDEO: Leftist Radicals, Hide Flag, Then Call for Armed Violence Against U.S. Government.

Hello FReepers,

We have some more jaw dropping video for you today. It all took place on state property at the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg Florida, on March 13, 2002.

My Favorite Headache and I took the trip up to St. Pete expecting the usual U.S. bashing and commie flourishes. But this event also featured the theme of armed violence against the U.S.

Before the event even began, one of the speakers, Kawal Ulanday of the Philippines, hid the U.S. flag that was prominently positioned behind the podium. This would set the tone for the events that would follow.

Once again, I believe the video speaks for itself. And here are two quotes from it:

Kawal Ulanday, Committee for Human Rights in the Philippines:

“For our movement, taking up arms has been a last resort. Where to U.S. Imperialism it’s always been the first resort. And it’s always the people’s last resort. And so that’s where were at, and that’s where were proudly at. Because we will do definitely whatever it takes.”

Penny Hess, Chair, the African People's Solidarity Committee:

“We have to break our allegiance with this system and say, this is some white people that this government can’t count on … and I say all oppressed peoples have the right to bear arms against tyranny and oppression.”

There is much more in the video, including Omali Yeshitela turning 9/11 into a knee slapping stand-up routine.

Enjoy the video,

Jorge Torres

TBLSHOW "....and H. Rap Brown, they were not perfect human beings, but they are two of my heroes for showing courage when most Blacks were too scared to address issues like police brutality.

I remember a group of motorcycle rides, all black in 1968, who called themselves "The Chains of H. Rap Brown" who rode around terrorizing Whites.

My, my, your heros are the type of people who spewed hate and violence against innocent people.

As for your hero H. Rap Brown, didn't he just get a prision sentence for his untiring efforts against society and innocent people? Retorical, but telling.

"That guy will be in jail within hours."

I don't know which guy you mean, but if you're referring to Yeshilita(sp?), this is not the first time he has, literally, incited a riot. Several blocks of old St. Pete were burned and looted to the ground a few years ago with this racist leading the charge, and nothing was done about him then. He even called openly for the murder of the mayor and police chief.

The authorities here won't/can't touch him, but one of these days he's gonna be in the wrong place at the wrong time...

I am a (soon to be finished) graduate student at Univ. of CA, Davis. On campus, and at the state capitol (less than 30 minutes away), "anti-war" protests have been held within the last couple of weeks, where the "anti-war" protestors were advocating revolution. Apparently, they are unaware that there is a slight contradiction in protesting "against war" while advocating violence.

I remember the "peace" protests during the Gulf war--shutting down the Oakland Bay Bridge, vandalizing cars and shops, obviously unaware that these violent actions are not pacifistic.

Back when I was an undergraduate at Univ. of MD, Balto. Co., I remember that a former Black Panther came to campus advocating a bloody race war, and the journalism student writing about the visit was thoroughly ecstatic about the idea. To be fair, she (the student) didn't claim to be a pacifist; still, her enthusiasm about violence rather casts some doubt about the left's claims to love peace.

Then there was that incident regarding the "racist" ad David Horowitz ran in campus newspapers last year. The behavior of the leftist students then was despicable. I wonder if any of them would like being treated the way they treated Mr. Horowitz?

Taken separately, any one leftist event may not seem like much, but when you consider that the leftist propagandists are working overtime on college campuses all over the country, it doesn't seem so harmless. Quite frankly, the left frightens me.

Obviously you're wearing your dunce hat. You don't seem to realize that the CIA and other similar agencies work WORLDWIDE, not just in Miami. And you don't appear to quesion the notion that a paper based in Miami just happened to get lucky and take a 300 mile trip to Tampa Bay and just happened to scoop the story before the local papers got a wind of it (thanks for the geography lesson).

FormerLurker, FutureLurker, Osama Bin Laden, or whatever you are calling yourself today, to start off MiamiFreePress is NOT a newspaper, he is a person, a Freeper, who keeps track of these things for the purpose of documenting the traitors among us. So he is not a paper, he did not just get lucky, he investigated and drove himself to Tampa Bay to get the videotape. Since so much of the media types in this country are at least somewhat sympathetic to this crowd, they are naturally not interested in exposing the facts about them.

Continuing, YOU brought up MiamiFreePress's location in Miami, if it was not signifigant, why did you bring the point up in the first place. If you want to know how he found out about the rally, why don't you ask him, before you accuse him of being a CIA agent.

As for your fascination with the Manchurian Candidate, IT IS JUST A MOVIE, get it. The guy who directed the brainwashing in the movie was an actor named Khigh Deigh (sp?), who was a fairly articulate actor, best known for playing a character on Hawaii Five - O, named Wo Fat, who like his character in Manchurian Candidate, was a Red Chinese spy. This was FICTION, in case you are still capable of grasping the difference. Mr. Deigh often appearred on the old Long John Nebel midnight till dawn radio talk show in the 60's and 70's, where as an active leftist, he would discuss current affairs with Nebel and various political activists, including some of the local Youth for Goldwater leaders. Since I knew them, I met him.

Let me put it this was Mr. Lurker, I knew Khigh Deigh, Khigh Deigh was an acquaintance of mine, and you Mr. Lurker are no Khigh Deigh, he was a gentleman and a man of intellect, two qualities in which you are totally lacking.

We'll have to sick some the Pinay homies from Daly City on these sad Reds. (Most here in the Bay Area Filipino community are rabidly anti-Communist and anti-Islamist.) What a disgrace these radicals are!....

I'm sure these guys pose no threat whatsoever. The State Department and INS must have thoroughly screened them, or else they would never have been let into the country.

I have a question Freepers! Your thoughts on this would be a big help! I just don't know what to think anymore.

We have the best military in the world, probably could take most of the world on in a war and still come out on top. What I don't understand is, we want racial equality, peace and prosperity for all Americans, freedom to worship, to raise our children without too much government interference. We want all of the good things that America started out fightng for in the beginning. We go out of our way to hunt down terrorist all over the world and wipe them out.

We don't want our government to crutch our free-speech, that's for sure. We want to be able to disagree with other's, debate and argue in a civilized manner. I think everone here knows's exactly what we want our country to be. But as I speak, we have brave men and women fighting and dying for those rights.

Why do we allow "seditionist" among us? Why do we allow anyone to stay in this great nation of ours that want's nothing but her death, and our's as well? Traitors that hate us? People bent on killing all of some day?

I can't speak for anyone but myself, but Freepers, they do not deserve what these men and women are dying for. They do not deserve our Constitutional Rights if all they preach is our distruction right here in our home, they do not deserve to be educated at our schools while at the same time talk of an overthrow of this country of ours. This is our home, this is American.

No, I am one person that does not believe everyone "in" American deserves to be treated equally, that is a privelege that should be reserved for the Americans that love her and respect her, and would not do anything to harm her. Seditionists and folks that call for violence against here do not belong, I do believe if they thought they were going to be thrown out, they would change the record.

Am I wrong?

Thank you

I believe you are right. When you think about how the defiition of these terms could get modifed over time, however, it starts to get a little disturbing. Maybe, I'm wrong - seditionist is a pretty clear term, but just look at how the ignorant are working on un-defining "terrorist"...

According to Websters.com:

se·di·tion     (s-dshn)
n.
  1. Conduct or language inciting rebellion against the authority of a state.
  2. Insurrection; rebellion.

Still, I share your disgust with this and feel that there needs to be a line past which Americans will not tolerate.
