When I was stationed in Germany, there was one even better, a Porche in Germany is sold as standard equipment - with a blond in the right hand seat.
What are you, a democrat? You should have gone working after school and gotten one yourself, like probably most of us FReepMales did.
My parents are divorced now, but were married when I met my dh when we were 15 and 17. My dad was rather distant, but I think ALL dads born in the 30's were kind of distant. My husband is so NOT like my dad.
But back to the point of the article, it was my husband's blue eyes and blond hair that got me first, and then it was his nice guy/bad boy combination. He turned out to be one of the nicest men I know.
As far as the money factor goes, I was too young to worry about whether or not he made any money to speak of. I'm more interested in his sense of humor, his parenting abilities, his fidelity, and his way of making me feel like I'm still his girl after 30 years. I wouldn't trade him for ANY of the super rich guys in the world. I plan on keeping him, Lord willing.
When our son was worried about meeting the right girl a few years back, he said, "But Mom, I want a PRETTY girl." And I told him that when he was 80 years old he wouldn't care if his wife was pretty or not, but it would matter a great deal if she was still a good and kind wife in his old age. It's not like I have forgotten what first attracted me to his father, but I'm old enough now to know that blond hair turns grey, and blue eyes eventually need glasses. :-)
ya can always trade up and stay "married"
No but can you explain why Lyle Lovet(sp?) snagged Julia Roberts...?
On February 24, 1996, three light aircraft left Miami on a routine flight. Their missions, to search the waters off the Florida Coast for rafters trying to reach the US shores, and bring them help by guiding the US Coast Guard to their location. That day in February, only one plane would return to its home base in Miami.
Tune in to Radio FreeRepublic this Thursday, March 14, at 9 PM EST, and listen to the actual sounds of a terrorist in action, murdering unarmed American citizens.
Sr. José Basulto, founder of Brothers to the Rescue and pilot of the surviving Cessna, will shed light on the events of that day, and detail how the Clinton administration withheld advanced knowledge of the attack from the humanitarian volunteer group, helping seal the fate of these four courageous flyers.
Radio FreeRepublic, fearless talk radio.
Well, the article and Darwin are of course wrong again. Now regardless of what women may say publicly - size does matter to them. Therefore, according to Darwinian theory, those with the biggest members should be the most fruitful. Yet simple research proves this to be totally wrong. The most productive race on earth are the asiatics, yet, they have the tiniest members. The least productive are the blacks, yet they have the largest.
That was the secret of Giacomo Casanova in his memoirs. Seduce one and get none. Seduce two and get both!
Women are jealous and competitive.
I always thought it was my eyes...Thanks Mom.
Besides that, married women in a bar are looking for the same thing that single women are, but with more urgency. You probably look like you can keep a secret, Dan.
I'm loyal to a fault. I definatly know how to keep a secret.
A single woman in a bar alone is probably looking to hook up, but a married woman in a bar alone is certainly looking to hook up. Be flattered, Danny boy.
The pipes are calling......
LOL. I never considered myself a bad boy, but 'old school'. I was raised as an old fashion blue collar Irish Catholic(not always a good one). Girly men don't exist in our family, if for no other reason...we never grew up around any(even the liberals). I sometimes think that I look in the mirror when I watch Die Hard's John McClane. Dry humor, one liners, blue collar guy, is conservative, not a saint, likes his beer, stubborn as a mule, very competitive, and in the end does the right thing and saves the world.
It's great that I'm attacting ladies,(Mostly mid to late 20's, slightly older than me - 23) but married women is trouble waiting to happen. A lot of times, people think I'm older than I really am as well. That may have something to do with it.
