What can be done about Daschle?
Posted on 03/11/2002 8:01:15 PM PST by hugsy
Daschle has all but abandoned representing his state in pursuit of attacking President Bush. He has turned the Senate from majority to minority rule, requiring 60 votes for passage of enabling 41 Senators to decide what gets passed and what doesn't. What can be done to remove this obstacle?

He needs some serious, dedicated, in your face, FReeping; he needs to hear the truth from regular joes. I am convinced that this arrogant, backstabbing, partisan creep thinks he can fool all the people, all the time.

There are 2 things that quickly come to mind.
First, contribute to John Thune's campaign. He's running on a conservative platform against liberal Johnson in S.Dakota, and, even though it's still only March, the poll numbers actually show him as being ahead. I live in MA, but will make donations to his campaign right up until November. I think that this is the most important Senate race in the country. Wouldn't it be great if the dem's lost the majority because of the voters in Daschle's home state?
Second, donate at www.dumpdaschle.org. Visit it, I think you'll like it!

Might I suggest a liberal application of Preparation H upon the appropriate portion of the Democrats' body politic?

Besides voting for Republicans in November, an effect tool against Dashole is to boycott South Dakota and everything related to South Dakota. It is what the NAACP is doing to South Carolina and there is no reason that American patriots can't use the same tool against the America-haters in South Dakota who are stupied or criminal or treasonous enough to have elected the guy.
Dashole hates America and preaches class warfare at home. He is a political hack who will try to turn any issue into something that he hopes will work in his favor. He is beyond persuasion by reasonable people or patriots. Therefore, don't go to South Dakota, don't buy anything from South Dakota and take EVERY opportunity to tell merchants and organizations based there that you want nothing to do with people who hate America so much that they elected Dashole.
Last year, a South Dakota CoC or visitors bureau had a lot of TV ads urging tourists to go there. If you see them again this spring, write back and tell them they are wasting their money. Leverage in a small state might be very effective.

Well we could ask Byrd to send the KKK over to talk with him. That's how Bobby used to do it in Virginia.
How long do you think Bow Wow would be silent if a Rep ex-KKK was a senator? Think about it. Ask Packwood about it.
