Seeing Red in SoCal: FReepers Take On The [American?] Red Crass (Pics inside!)

Fed up FReepers got together on a flawless (sunny, breezy, warm) SoCal day (as planned: Kids' chance to sing dissolves in discord MY TITLE: Red Cross Double Cross) to let The (American?) Red Crass know how some of us feel about their exclusionary philosophy.

FReepers BadJoe and WillaJohns provided signs and refreshments and FReeper seenenuf gave up five years of lurking to finally sign up, log on and join us.

 

We were photographed and interviewed by the Orange County Register, and received pretty decent support from people entering the Hyatt parking lot. (Okay, and one guy who yelled at us to "get a G*dd@#^ life.)

 

As a bonus, when we were leaving, we met a man approaching with his own sign, a man who had called around and found out on his own where these people could be protested. A FReeper in the making! Love the self-motivation.

VOA, but I think you might be. I remember during the Election FReeps you and General Maximus
put together the threads and may possibly have attended... but we never met.

Not to sound too melodramatic...
I did try to maintain a bit of a low profile on-site.
I do believe in "employment-at-will" and I would not be shocked if my employer (very much
the well-intended, yet deluded Democrat) might just find a way to get rid of me...
if my true sympathies were known.

Honestly, the one time I got on the Hugh Hewitt Show, I gave an alias and got a laugh
from Hewitt when I told him I was "a one-man counter-revolutionary cell at a major
California research university".

This is truly outrageous! I just e-mailed Fox & Friends and Sean Hannity about it and sent them this link. Hopefully someone at Fox News will give this story some coverage.
