Savage on Campaign Finance Reform CFR - I don't get it

Could a Freeper who agrees with what I write here try to call Michael Savage and ask him to reconsider his support for CFR -Campaign Finance Reform?
I can only see that CFR will harm the efforts of grass-roots organizations like various pro-life organizations, small business lobby organizations, the NRA (National Rifle Association), etc.
What do you all think?

Savage is to radio talk programs what Wolfman Jack was to to the disc jockey programs of a few years ago.
It is SHOW BUSINESS and getting attention.
Getting attention is more difficult all the time which continually escalates the entertainers to new heights.
My opinion.

Great analogy.

There are certain things about Savage I like, BUT...
He's totally hung up on himself. The other day, on the way home from work, some lady called him. She started the call quite excited and asked how he was doing. There was this very long uncomfortable silence before she asked if he was there. He then scolded her for asking how he was doing and asked her to state her question. She then, a bit less enthusiastically, told him how much she liked his show.
I was so embarassed for Savage that I turned off the program. Hewitt, Rush, and Sean Hannity NEVER do that. They are courteous ALWAYS to their callers.
Michael Medved and Savage both have a POLICY about "how are you today". I called Medved's show once and the screener warned me TWICE not to ask how Medved was doing....Neither warrant my listnership. I don't like rude holier than though talk show hosts.

Ever listen to Klik and Klak (sp?) on NPR? They talk about fixing cars. They are so polite to their callers and ask them all sorts of questions about where they live. The show has great chemistry and even the most die hard gear head wouldn't get irritated by the "chit chat".
A good rule of thumb in the radio business is to not piss off your listeners. I guess some people think they're so good they can overcome that.

I always thought Michael Savage represents independent conservative thinkers, not just GOP suck-ups (like Rush Limbaugh does). So true. I'll take Savage any day over Rush Limbaugh. Rush grew stale years ago.

>>>Do you have a Doctorate? <<<
And what does that have to do with being able to evaluate blowhardism??
I have a couple of advanced degrees and get my fill of Mr. Savage in about 1min:45sec or less.

Do you mean like the first hour of Rush Limbaugh's show, where he kisses his own ass the whole morning? He has that arrogant "buffoon-style" to him, with his "golden microphone" and "talent on loan from God" nonsense.Yes, he is probably the worst when it comes to arrogance. His 'talent on loan' bit became old and tiresome years ago.
At least Michael Savage gets to the friggin' point as soon as his show starts.
Yes, he does. None of this small talk garbage that I could care less for.

Savage can be great when he gets on a roll -- and when he gets the issue right at the same time. But he apparently didn't on CFR (haven't listened to him lately). Too bad he's such a fricking a**hole.

Put NOT your trust in politicians, or political commentators. Sooner or later, most will let you down. At least, so far, Rush has maintained his position on this, but, then again, who knows??

Charley Jones here in Texas (on a vacation now) doesn't hang up on callers (almost NEVER!) and he'll chat with them about as long as the caller has something to say.
Its not uncommon to hear Charley ask "is there anything else?" and for the callers to say "um, no".
Granted it is a night time show but its really good to hear....
ALTHOUGH I once heard him reading a column almost verbatum and taking it as his own comments. That made me mad 'cuz I like Krauthamer(sic)
