Maybe some local muscle from the Icicle Gang showed up at her hotel door and gave her a message.

I thought those were the Cavity Creeps, Shermy.

Well, you know how "emotionally fragile" she is. She may need to get back to France to check into a "rest home" & swill a few bottles of wine on the French Rivera. I've heard that's quite the cure.

To me, this event can not top the Tonya harding scandal just because that was conspiracy with intent to do bodily harm. At least the judges don't try to break the knee caps..though I wouldn't put anything past those Russians during the cold war :-)

Not unless she is a member of French diplomatic or consular personnel, or a member of the family of a diplomat. Anyone entitled to immunity has the obligation and duty to respect the laws and regulations of the host country. She is not entitled because she is not a diplomat. The only thing that could happen to her is she might have her visa cancelled. I’m sure nothing will happen to her though.

Wasnt the whole reason for making this deal was that the French didn't have a judge for the ice dancing .....if that is the case..we wouldn't have watched her anyway :-)

No, of course not. But shouldn't you identify a law that was broken first?

hey dimwit, how about fraud? Collusion? Racketeering? Conspiracy? You've got to kidding me with your question. You are kidding me, aren't you?

They probably think they deserved to win because the Russian team has won this event for 42 years so I heard! And I am sure "fair and square." (obvious sarcasm!)

So let's say that she is confessing to a crime..what jurisdiction do we have if she is now back in France? I still can't get over her admitting to this...There is something else going on behind the scenes I think that we don't know about that caused her to confess.

Same thoughts here. This is weird. Who ever fesses up this fast? I don't know what to think.

She's fleeing the country!

So what else is new about a Frenchman?

This is insane, we have more troops in Salt Lake than we do in Afghanistan and we can't stop a little old French lady from leaving the airport.

Precisely... wrong. We have 30,000 airport inspectors STOPPING little old ladies, while the rag-tops parade through, waving at their security pals at the airports. They'll get her! Meanwhile, beware of the Teddy Bear alert.

She was "Enron-ised" in Salt Lake City. Must have been the altitude too. NATO, United Nations, ACLU, NAACP, and the Fonda Foundation will clear this up in no time. The trial attornies will award her $50 million for pain and suffering when she was found out of breath at the airport.

It's not going to be as interesting this year since with their knees strapped together.
