Guilty judges to be left alone in room with the Canadian Men's Hockey team. :)

Otavio Cinquanta = Lanny Davis???
To: codebreaker
I can't tell what he's saying. He can't speak English at all. But apparently, he's saying that all ice skating base are belong to us.
To: codebreaker
Did he say nothing, or did that atrocious Italian accent just lull me into sleep?

It all depends on what the meaning of the word "fix" is

He has talked to the French judge ( I think)
To: codebreaker
That does it. If the corruption goes that high, Canada, the USA, and ever other nation that want FAIR competition should pull their skaters out right now.

The way to solve this problem: at the final ceremonies, the Russians give their gold metal to the Canadians.

Give the olympa-scammers what they truly deserve. Ignore them. Don't buy their stuff, don't generate any revenue for them. And then they will fade away, like the tired old con persons they are.

It's cute. The foreigners in the ISU and IOC think this controversy will just go away in a few days. They don't realie they are on American soil, and our press is too persistent to let this scandal die-down. Furthermore, contest-fixing is a crime in the U.S.
Of course, as evidence by the amount of bribery Salt Lake City had to resort to to get the Olympics, it is plane that the IOC is fatally corrupt.
To: codebreaker
The ISU expected to come in here, say "we're looking into it," sweep it under the rug, and that it would go away. Oops.
This guy's ridiculous performance just elevated this from a judging controversy to a full-blown international incident. Pass the popcorn...this is BETTER THAN THE GAMES!!!

In case anyone's wondering, they're not running the press conference on any of MSNBC's online audio/video sites.

Gee, I thought the reason the US athletes couln't march into the opening ceremonies with the WTC flag is that the Olympics are not "political." Looks like a whole lotta Europolitics goin' on here!
To: codebreaker; all
Nothing here, folks.
Neither team, the Canadians or the Russians (LOL) have filed a complaint. He is saying since THEY haven't registered a complaint, what is the BIG DEAL?!
The President of the ISU is either living in a bubble, or he is stupid.

I find this guy refreshing in a weird way. He's not like a bland American in the same predicament. He's letting his personality show - he gets angry, he tries humor, he is disdainful. Good entertainment value.
I'm already imagining the Saturday Night Live parody of this! Unfortunately there probably be no SNL this week - pre-empted by . . . the Olympics!
