This guy could have worked for Clinton. How do you hold a press conference on this topic then spend the whole time talking about your great organization and it's history? The reporter's questions are basicly avoided.

"Have you spoken to the judge involved? What was your conversation." "Well I have talked to certain people. I can't tell you who. And I can't tell you what we discussed. I will report to our committee, not you."

I think this guy is from the International Skating Union (ISU). The IOC needs to step in here. Skating is being tarnished by this, but so is the Olympic movement.

The IOC runs the games, and I don't see why they can't overrule the ISU, and award a gold medal to the Canadians. Even if they let the Russians keep theirs.

All this predicated, of course, that the allegations of fixing by the judges hold up. There is just no way that the ISU can state, without reservation, that the result was correct when collusion between judges is proven.

In addition, the IOC should suspend figure skating from the next Olympics, giving the ISU a chance to apply for reinstatement once it has it's house in order. THAT would send a message.
