the ratings are superb. In the midst of February sweeps, NBC is smashing everyone else.

Are you sure we're in the sweeps yet? When did they start? I've been thinking that NBC SHOULD be crushing the competition because the competition doesn't seem to be putting anything worthwhile up against it. The competition has at times been putting reruns up against NBC.
