Child shot in head by off duty cop during school demo

This just reported on Fox news. A 10 year old child in Pennsylvania was accidentally shot in the head during a school demonstration by an off-duty cop.
The child is expected to survive.

There's a story going around here in Raleigh about an ATF guy who came to Cary to serve a warrant. He got a Cary cop to go with him. They did a dynamic entry and the ATF guy shot the cop in the foot as they went through the door.

The ATF guy was on a plane 45 minutes later and has never responded to any inquiries, summons, etc. The cop is now on disability from his foot injury.

"Now children, WHATEVER you do, DON'T EVER point the gun at your friends head -- like I'm doing now -- and then PULL the TRIGGER!!"

Time for some common sense cop laws. If this gun had not been made to by the cop, it would not have killed the kid. All cops should be required to wear locks.

SNIPPET OF AN ARTICLE REGARDING THE COP GUN DROPPER: "According to Fulton, the uniformed officer had shown the magazine clip to the class and had just put it back in the gun when she dropped the weapon. Fulton did not know if the gun discharged when it hit the floor or when the officer retrieved it. Police officials say the incident occurred while the officer was picking up her child from school - not as part of a planned demonstration. Nonetheless, they say, the officer should have never drawn her weapon."

IN THIS SITUATION, THE OFFICER SHOULD HAVE NEVER DRAWN HER WEAPON. In my opinion, this officer should be fired ASAP!

Rule number one is that a gun is always loaded until you unload it. Idiot didn't know to drop the magazine before clearing it?

Rule two is never point that firearm at anything you do not intend to kill. Maybe the kid he shot was from a family that supports RKBA?

No, I am not cutting him any slack -- he was a "trained professional" in a state that is keeping a registry of all gunowners, contrary to the Constitution. I have not read the thread yet, but I can't think of a single reason to excuse the fool.

When I was in Philadelphia, last year, there was a radio talk show host who was talking about the incompetent female police officers that Philadelphia was forced to hire under affirmative action. I heard on Fox that the officer who dropped the gun was female.

The female officer that was the subject of the radio show, was overweight and physically unfit. In addition, she had no driver's license when she entered training. They tried to fire her, but made a deal that if she got her license before she finished training, she could keep her job.

This was a big mistake. The woman has been involved in numerous traffic accidents, wrecked a couple of police cars and ran over and killed another officer.

Thanks a bunch for the post and the link. I'm no psychic, but I've been around Afrocentrism a long time, and the name, "Imani," rang a bell. I believe there's a black supremacist, "Imani Nia" school somewhere.

At the Imani Circle School, the officer is I'm sure considered an important role model, whatever the racist, white media may say to the contrary.
