Did you notice Daschle didn't even attempt to applaud when Bush said look what we can accomplish when we stop the posturing? That's right, Tommy. You're playing with the big boys now....

They refrain from applauding not to show partiality but give him a standing ovation? They can applaud the President as the President. That's not showing partiality, it's simply recognition of, and respect for, the Executive Branch. It's not like the Judicial Branch is in opposition to the Executive Branch. But particular positions he espouses, that is what they don't want to appear partial to.

AMERICANS WANTED TAX RELIEF!!!!!!!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAW!
To: kattracks
LOL. I thought that, too.
Energy, Trade, Taxes, War, Economy - now if he just mentions the hold up of judicial appointments, I'll be a happy woman.

Well, there's a considerable growth of mold and fungus on it, but if scraped off I'm fairly confident that underneath you'd find the Pants Suit. Not that you would want to.

Why is it that Ted Kennedy can't stand when Bush talks of education, but when he mentions him by name...

Can't help but notice Hillery's golf clap and bs smile plastered on her ugly face.Probably because her handlers let her know what an a$$ she looked like during the President's last address to both houses.
Apparently even the biatch can be trained.
