Prayers requested for friend whose parents were murdered

I received the most horrific email at 5am today that I hope I ever get. A close friend in a nearby city wrote the following:

Did you get my message? This is not a joke. Someone broke into my parents house on Wed night around 11 and killed them. My aunt found them at 4pm on Thurs. Call me.

Somebody actually murdered two of the lovliest people God ever put on this earth. The police are saying little except they originally thought it could be a murder-suicide, but evidence, including the fact one of their vehicles was taken, points to homicide.

Thanks for all your kindness and your prayers throughout. Sandy and I talked about Heaven and the fact her brother has been released from his Earthly bonds and reunited with his loving parents. I think if it were me, that would be comforting.

She said her mother talked about how Tim would be releived of his palsy in the afterlife. When they saw him yesterday at the hospital, she said he looked very peaceful and that his body, which had always been clenched up was relaxed and straight.

I'm so thankful I have the people on FR to lean on in times of trouble like these. Blessings to all of you for your prayers and support. I will let Sandy know she is in the prayers of so many.

I knew a young man with muscular dystrophy that passed away - he's no longer in his wheelchair - he's in heaven running like the wind. I'm sure Tim is with him.
