DEARBORN, Mich. - The speaker was nearing the end of his lunch-hour talk on the basics of Islam, and his audience - about 60 Ford Motor Co. employees - was beginning to get a little fidgety.
Then he uttered what amounted to verbal caffeine: "On Sept. 11 . . ."
Mohamed E.M. El-Sayed, a Kettering University professor who is an Imam, a Muslim spiritual leader, was trying to help the gathering of white, black, Hindu, Latino and Muslim employees understand how the terrorists who carried out the attacks on Sept. 11 may have used Islam as a rationale.

Even in Holland Moroccans were partying. In Ede Moroccan youth were shouting and driving up and down the city. Many people filed complaints but the police was unable do do anything.

You leave out one important point in your summation of FR discussion on Islam: a not-inconsiderable amount of pro-Muslim sentiments on FR is little more than rank Jew-hating.
I think pretty much all of us here agree that not all Muslims are evil, or even supporting of terrorism. The point that cannot be denied is that Islam, as a whole, has been, and continues to be, uncomfortably silent in its condemnation of terrorism.
The other thing that must always be pointed out when accusing people of being basically dishonest bigots is that Islamism, a socio-political movement, is really the thing people are railing against, whether they know it or not.

"Henry Ford must be spinning in his grave."Not necessarily ... there was a lot of Nazi-loving in old Henry.

Everywhere I've looked I've seen reports that there was widespread SORROW and SYMPATHY for victims and their families.Got enough links or footnotes to any mohammadan press or scholars to show the majority aren't ulatting (sp.) still over 9-11?

You can try to force your political correctness on some one else, I'm not buying it. If the Muslims want sympathy from me they have got to addmit theire is a problem with in the fundlementalists ranks of their religion and prove they are trying to something about it.
They can cry all they want about being unfairly profiled, but if they want me to listen they had better show me they know how to police their own camp.
For every pro Muslim article you find I can find ten that support the oppisite view. I know from past experince that you refuse to accept facts that don't support your oppinion, as when you dismissed articles written by Danial Pipes who is much more learned on the subject then you. So please don't waste any more of my time, your like talking to a brick wall.

Name a Muslim country that allows its citizens to elect their leaders via free elections?
Name a Muslim country that became "Muslim" by choice and not by the sword or fear of the sword?
Name one Muslim country that allows other religions to be freely practiced?

Recently, I've gotten a lot of crap by other people online for being critical of Islam.
Your "other people" are apparently ignorant of the Islam's very skillful use of
presenting multiple faces to trusting Americans. It's a classic "fifth-column" tactic
to be employed here, since Americans are usually so willing to give people
"the benefit of the doubt".
Too bad these "other people" don't get to listen to talk radio in Los Angeles.
The double-talk and prevarication (that's a lie, in Flyover-Country jargon)
by Islamic callers and guests is just breathtaking.
I'd rather my neighborhood be flooded with undocumented Mexicans than "virtuous" Muslims.
The undocumented are at least a known quantity.
