My friends, this is the kind of column I used to do now and then before the world changed. I tell you what I've been doing and thinking and if you're interested you get a cup of coffee and sit down and read along, and if you're not you can go back to OpinionJournal's main page, or Drudge, or Salon, or Free Republic.

I believe (from an earlier article) her son at least reads FR, so she may already be here among us!

I love the way Peggy writes. After having heard her read her book "What I Saw At the Revolution", I can HEAR her reading to me when I read her columns. Wierd, huh? She has such a soft spoken voice, and she writes exactly the way she speaks, so it's easy to imagine her voice as I read her words.

My pleasure. Peggy Noonan is a supremely gifted writer. She is truly a treasure to the conservative movement -- and always a joy to read.

Really? I'd love to ask her some questions. She has such and gentle, yet firm disposition. And she's so danged witty. I hope one day she'll either register or "out" herself so I can ask her some questions about the great Ronaldus Maximus! I miss President Reagan.

At night, Maureen Dowd dreams of writing stuff like this. If only Dowd would stop long enough to shut her pie hole and pay attention.

Massive bump. Peggy is so...non-linear. I love it. She is doing exactly what God gifted her to do.
