Maybe because we're females, we're slow on the draw. Although, a couple of my girl friends have won awards for shooting.

A judge of mine used to keep a Glock in his desk drawer in open court. He allowed me to keep mace in my side pocket. Ya just never know. Better to be safe than sorry!

There’s a soft breeze outside, and the palm fronds are singing their unique, timeless song; it’s a beautiful night in the Tropics, and the Banana Republic is waking up to embrace the music of the night. Somewhere, somewhere out there, I can hear a lone guitar; maybe a neighbor playing under the moonlight, maybe the sound of a Gypsy Kings recording drifting through a window, open to the passion that nights like this bring with them.

This is farewell, for now. May we be free to argue, fight, and bicker for all eternity, and the time beyond that, and may we do it in the name of what is best for this Republic.
