the commies had taken our guns so we had to go bang bang bang like this. I did pretty good till i ran into a guy going rumble rumble rumble and i asked why he did not fall over he said i am a tank.rumble, rumble rumble.

The Pope was instrumental in the collapase of communism. He and his church buddies had been targeted for decades by the KGB for their "subversive" behavior.
Lech deserves his due as well. Just think, all the Gdansk workers wanted to do was form a union. And to think of all the communist supporters here in the US were against this.

A friend of mine had a photo of his mom standing next to Lech. He used to tell people that was his dad; most people not recognizing the man would take him at his word...
Bill Clinton refused to see Lech when he came to call. I got to see him speak a couple of years ago.
