DITC Commentary: Ever wonder where all those "seed faith" dontations are going? Whose getting rich again? Remind me. It thought it was those people who sent in their seed faith donations who were going to get a "100 fold increase" and that they would be the ones buying luxury homes. What a shock to find out it doesn't work out that way! Duh!!!!
Televangelists JAN and PAUL CROUCH of the Costa Mesa-based Trinity Broadcasting Network have purchased a Newport Beach house for close to $5 million, Orange County Realtors say.

What is that THING on her head? Considering what the bible says about a womans hair she is really thumbing her nose at the Word of God.

I'm sorry, but these people are no better than Jim and Tammy Faye. It's constant weeping, wailing and begging on TV for "love offerings" so they won't lose their station licenses, blah, blah, BLAH. Meanwhile they live like rock stars. It's truly disgusting.
"Meow-meow" side note re: Jan's horrifying appearance--Tammy Faye was truly scary to look at, but at least she didn't have PINK HAIR!!!!! What IS it with these TV evangelist broads? Too many of them look like hookers from the movie "Cabaret" or worse!!

he preaches lies such as the claim that Adam could fly I thought that it was Mexicans that could fly? Or is it that Mexicans are made out of candy... I keep forgetting.

Have a met an exception to my "blanket statement?" Are you a zealous religious right defender of Muslim religious freedom?

These people are Charismatics, they might do anything when they get worked up into one of those states. I don't pretend to understand it, but it scares the heck out of me to see it.
I knew someone who worked for TBN and she said that everytime they switch to a fundraiser, it is because they are slipping into a charismatic state and don't want it broadcast on TV. Perhaps the viewers/donors are slipping into one of these states at the same time.

Minor correction. Aaron Spelling's home is in Holmbty Hills. Incidently, it destroyed what was probably the most beatiful street for homes in Los Angeles.

That can't possibly be her...as gaudy as she is, I can't see her sporting a tattoo.
That's her, but from the looks of it, that's one of those novelty, temporary tatoos (like the kind in the old crackerjack boxes). The picture is from a Christian Biker webpage and it clearly identifies her as Jan Crouch. She probably put on the temporary tatoo as a "goof", just for this photo opportunity.

Is there an FCC regulation or "Gods Law" that requires all Televangilits to have really bad hair?

I met Tammy Faye at the Colton Auction (flea market) in southern California a number of years back. She's a frightening looking person..and quite arrogant.

Well, living in Newport Beach, I can assure you that while one can spend $10 million for a home, $5 million will buy you one very beautiful and large home with a spectacular view. It would be a custom built home, as new homes in the most recently built tract developments sell in the $800k to $1.5 million range, and they are typically 3,000 to 4,500 sq. ft. houses.
The Crouches have lived in Newport Beach for some time now, as I have seen him driving around town from time to time, and once I found him in the liquor isle of the Gelson's Supermarket picking out a wine selection.
People may not be aware, but the Crouches and the Bakers used to work together quite a few years ago. They had a falling out and went separate ways, after which the Bakers built their South Carolina resort.
The TBN "facility", for lack of a better word, is in nearby Costa Mesa. It is a garish white building in Greek/Roman style, visible from the 405 freeway. Any locals you ask will speak of the facility with derision. It is covered with while light bulbs which burn every night. One Christmas they installed a large Happy Birthday Jesus sign on the top of the building. They never took it down. Guess they celebrate Christmas 365 days a year.
Sorry if I sound nasty, but it bugs me to see these people always soliciting money and living the lifestyle they lead. I encourage every one to live well, but not off the contributions of others.

What a blessing it is to move to our new mansion. Thank Jesus. Bless the Lord, Jesus. Send us your seed money for our blessed-in-Jesus landscapers, and you shall receive His blessings.
Dig deep into your blessed pockets, and send the Lord (attention us) your blessed tithe, which the Lord will repay you hundred folds. Blessed be Jesus.

LMFAO!!!!! CLASSIC PICTURE

He once had the gall to claim that on one particular night Yeshua, Jesus the Christ himself would personally join him on stage. Methinks it would be something akin to a lightning bolt followed by some moaning, smoking and sizzling. Hurry up Jesus already
