Bible verse for my wedding?

Hi Freepers! This is completely self-serving, but this is such a great group and we've had such a tough day (I mean the plane crash, not wedding plans) that I thought it might be nice for folks to throw out some of their favorite bible passages. It doesn't have to be about marriage, but I am getting married on Saturday and I haven't found the perfect reading yet. So much is on our (my fiance and I) minds right now...we're not sure what to do here. Do any Freepers have some advice?

Can't beat I Corinthians Chapter 13. Also I Corinthians Chapter 16 verses 13-14: "Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love." That sums it up for me!

I've always liked: Ecclesiastes: 3rd Chapter. All of it.
It may not be "just what you want" for a wedding...
But....
It pretty well describes our presence "on this earth"
And...
I find those words very comforting.

My husband and I chose Psalm 127 and have been blessed by these words:

Blessed are them that fear the Lord; they shall walk in his ways.
For thou shalt eat the labors of thy hands; blessed art thou, and it shall be well with thee.
Thy wife as a fruitful vine on the sides of thy house.
Thy children as olive plants round about thy table.
Behold, thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.
May the Lord bless thee out of Zion, and mayest thou see the good things of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

I read this one morning and thought of my nephew who was about to be married. He had asked me to give the blessing at the meal at the reception. I believe that it is referred to as the Psalm of assent. They loved it, as do I.
