Conspiracies abound

After reading a few hundred posts on the FR forum today I can only say, FR has turned into a "Conspiracy Theory Haven". People have been posting the most OUTLANDISH comments with absolutely nothing to support them except that a "Government Spokesman" has denied them. I guess that denial is proof in the world of the cynic who is unable to look at information and sift fact from conjecture.
I don't know what caused the crash today. I know for certain I DON'T have enough factual information to even form a reasonable opinion. (Note: the key word is REASONABLE!)
I look at known, objective information which I believe most would accept as factual and add to that pile of info as it becomes available. So far, there is absolutely no, I say again, NO, evidence that the crash was anything but malfunction. Now, a person needs fact to whittle away at that supposition. What FACTS do we have to do so?
Darn little, if any. Let's look-
1) Crashed in Rockaway. Hmmm Normal takeoff route. But one of many.
2) Rockaway is home of Mike Moran. SO?
3) Some witnesses claim to have heard an explosion...Most do not!
4) This type of airplane is crashproof. BS. Not worthy of comment.
Add others and try to RATIONALLY draw conclusions based on FACT. Not some hypothetical desire to be the one that proves it was OBL beyond a reasonable doubt. You ain't gonna be a hero, chum.
Flame away tin hatters, I can take it. But until I see some viable arguments to prove a conspiracy/terrorist influence, I will believe that a mechanical malfunction was the cause for the loss of 255 + innocent lives.

> Well, put me in with the group that examines objects and events scientifically, uses inductive and deductive reasoning, and draws reasonable conclusions from stated hypotheses
I would much rather believe my own lying eyes and so far PG firing synapses than have someone whose best interests are served by throwing so many monkeywrenches into a spin cycle, that by the time the spin is done it looks like kids with fingerpaints did the analysis, tell me what to believe. Or would you rather wait for two years through all the obfuscation to find that we weren't so crazy after all, just before our time? TWA 800 was a terrorist act. NOW they are saying so.

Who's saying TWA 800 was a terrorist job? Pierre Salinger? Yeah, I'm going to base my beliefs of that tragedy on a nutjob like him!

"Flame away tin hatters"
As a newcomer, this phrase in particular is a complete mystery to me.

Two questions about your very opaque response (I still don't know if you were serious or trying at some strange humor). First, what is LHO? Lettuce, hamburger, onion? My decoder ring must not be up-to-date. Secondly, if minds better and more honest than yours' come up with the notions you're pushing, how do you, with your admittedly weaker and less honest one, know that these people are telling the truth?
To: FourtySeven
Tin hatters are the nut jobs who believe every conspiracy theory as long as they conform to the tin hatters' beliefs that the world is controlled by Zionist banking interests from the old Hapsburg regime, or some other such drivel. Tin hats are popular among this crowd because of their well-known ability to pick up the radio transmissions from UFO's or Russian subs in Lake Michigan, or from where ever else 'the truth' emanates. Read flea69's comments on the latter portion of this thread for an overview of tin hatter logic and codespeak. Keep your decoder ring up-to-date, and your tin hat on tight. And if you watch the Bushes closely enough, you can see the strings moving their arms and mouths!

John Kerry
James Kallstrom
John Kerry again
George Stephanopoulis...
for starters.
To: NixNatAVanG InDaBurgh
Uh,...the Democrap Undergroomed site is over there to the left somewhere. George Snuffaluggagus is your source for this? Give me a break! John Kerrey? Keep digging!

Keep your government issued, rose-colored glasses on, mac. And make absolutely sure you can't see peripherally around them. The real world might sneak in while you are looking.
Oh. And tra-la.
To: NixNatAVanG InDaBurgh
So what is LHO? I'm curious.
To: NixNatAVanG InDaBurgh
That daggone sneaky guvmint didn't tell me the glasses they gave me were rose colored. Since you knew that tidbit about me, you must be part of some conspiracy. You must be part of some super-secret guvmint agency.
To: Leesylvanian
Since you asked so nicely...several times...
L..ee, (not woods.)
Harvey, (not the wabbit.)
Oswald, (not Ozzie, either.)
That couldn't have been a legit question...could it?
BTW, where is Lee's Woods? And where IS Fred Mertz?

It sure is nice to be in the company of such deep thinkers like you and annie, you're both a veritable plethora of solid information.

Annie and her ilk can't be bothered by facts it might disrupt their personal attacks and lame attempt at humor. I knew what kind of responses my post would illicit from them. I am confident more of the same will commence shortly after this posted.

I'm aware of the fact that some news sources are used by our government to promote their agenda. Sometimes for good and valid reasons, but honestly the manpower and the need to cover a insignificant site such as this is extremely unlikely. But for sh**s and giggles imagine if some of our current crop of posters were of this group. That would be a very sad statement on our goverments ability to hire anyone with cognitive reasoning skills above that of average.

Every time these twits are called out to defend their positions they wilt like week old flowers. Since they have no substance and no ability to defend themselves it's like taking candy from a dimbulb.

As Johnny's sidekick would say "you are correct sir"!!!

Invited? I'm just glad to know you are alive. This AA tragedy has been like putting a torch to a rotten log. All the conspiracy grubs are popping out of their dusty holes. I've even seen some electronic genuflecting in Rivero's direction. Once again, every government agency is producing nothing but LIES, (in some cases before they even produce anything at all). But I guess we've seen it all before.

distorting the comments made by those that don't agree with you does not strengthen your possition and probably weakens it. I would have thought someone a correct as you seem to believe you are would not make that mistake. Oh well we won't subtract too many points. You may still get a passing grade.

OK. You've stumped me. Whose comments did I distort? If you are going to nearly flunk me, at least give me a chance to make some corrections.
